MAP --- • [1 OPEN] BACKUPS NEEDE...
Pretty ambitious MAP parts that took way too long to finish! I really like how they came out tho, I tried my best to make it look as polished as possible! Had some fun with the room interior designs, took inspiration from baroque ballrooms and gothic windows cause I love those! Probably won't make many MAP parts in a while cause I'm starting art college in a few days! so! nervous!
Characters in order of appearance: Blydar as a raven (shape shifting mage!), Castien, Nymira, Rain, Tatrina, Rint, unnamed elven aristocrat and Juveline
Lore: This is all stuff taken from the third book of the series where the plot takes place on elves' ground. Nymira meets her half-brother Castien and they visit the local mage, cause Castien is his apprentice. The mage notices that Nymira is having a hard time coping with grief over her killed best friend. Meanwhile Rain is taken hostage by the elven princess Juveline, who orders him to be her sister's partner or else she will have him hanged. Rain has to pretend that he loves said sister, Tatrina, even thought she is way younger than him and he doesn't love her at all. During the royal ball in the palace, Rain dances with Tatrina and she wants to kiss him, he doesn't have a choice but to go along. Rint and Nymira both see that happen, and they're both upset (they're both secretly crushing on Rain). Rain feels disgusted by what he has to do and he glances angrily at Juveline, who is amused to see her plan working and her sister happy.
