    Subscribed and liked because you've shown every gritty step unlike most other videos who assume you know the simple stuff and skip past it:(

    Thanks guys for putting this out there. Super informative, and took a lot of the stress and guessing work out of it. Thank You.

    Excellent video! Especially pointing out the brake line interference challenge and the ralley wheel to lower A arm interference.

    Great detailed video series. I noticed the drop spindles instructions say to use a wheel spacer if interference is an issue on the lower spindle. I wonder if that would help from having to grind it?

    Great video, I have the same truck only 1986, question is: what is your tire size?? And is the lower arm rubbing a rally wheel problem? Thank you

    I am going with Belltech I measured 1” rotor, so I believe I need 3200 .
    I’m thinking of just cutting original coils and reusing, did you use lowering shocks? Looked like bell techs
    Thanks great video

    • @WeberAuto23
      @WeberAuto23  Před 2 lety +1

      @Oldschool Man we had gotten shorter shocks from when cut the coils the first time we lowered it. We reused those shocks with the drop spindles

    Did you use 3100 or 3200 belltech spindle. I ordered 3100 but ball joint would not fit when I went to install. I want to make sure I order the right part next time. My brake is 1”

    I have a 1986 GMC that I want to lower and keep the 15 inch wheels, how much should I lower it to make it look good ?

    • @WeberAuto23
      @WeberAuto23  Před 2 lety

      @James Arnold my 87 Chevy is lowered 3” in the front and 4” in the back. I think it looks pretty good

  • @VATION3RD
    @VATION3RD Před 2 lety

    I'm willing to bet those front wheels won't turn left and right because you'll have to grind that Lower A Frame all the way around the front and back side because that wheel has to turn left and right

    How much is rear lowered and how was it lowered Thank you

    • @WeberAuto23
      @WeberAuto23  Před 3 lety +2

      About 4 inches. Moved the front leaf mounts up on the frame rail. And made the shackles longer on the rear. Had to cut the cross member in the floor of the bed so the rear leaf spring wouldn’t hit it.

    This video is a prime example of what sheer disappointment sounds like lol, they did a great job…..but we all know as men….when you get the look you want you will have no problem being vocal about it.
    But when you don’t get the look you want you do exactly what these guys did….stare in pure disappointment lol.
