Also, for anyone looking to join the FFA's. Turin doesn't pick anyone to join. It is first come first served. The same players get in because they know the best ways to get in. And even then, they don't always make it every try. Make sure to add Turin to your friendslist in game. You can right-click and hit join game when he opens it up. Remember, there is about a 20 second delay from what you hear and see in the stream from real time. So you need to anticipate and start early. Also, join our FFA tournaments we host through the discord. These have sign-up sheets and guarantee a spot.
Turin moving his units off the sacred site at 1:57:49 might have been the most painful thing I've ever experienced...

Agreed. Made me cringe had he just left them there he would have won. Really needed to keep an eye on sacred timer. I am fairly sure turin must not have realised how close he was or we have left everything and probably pulled all his vills
They stopped doing FFAs amongst the pros because people were teaming. I think this is also becoming a pattern here. The last several streams I have seen players sharing trade nodes without even trying to shut each other down.
Perhaps they need an actual random FFA instead of the same, friendly players.
Yea 4 players in Discord together in the FFA right off the bat leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The FFA quality definitely seems to be degrading imo.

@@Daniel_deez_nutz I only partially agree, I think teaming in FFA is awesome, as long as it’s a temporary thing not established before the game start.

That last ffa game was super lame, especially if they were in call. Not sure but eventually catching that 4v1 kinda was the theme of the stream. GGS and nice stream
the players that were in call were from the first ffa (they chill in calls all the time and often have blood feuds with each other so i doubt they would team in a call)the last ffa as far as im aware that teal player was either a random that joined from public lobby or a new viewer not some1 ive seen around in the discord. I just went for turin since i killed off my other neighbour so he was the next target before nelosi came and destroyed me :D
That final FFA was a bit of a sour experience, chad nelosi trying to help out
Man the FFA’s are really starting to get frustrating to watch, which is a shame because they are my favorite content on the channel. Between everyone trying to team up *constantly* and certain players simply having a hard on for killing Turin from the start (even when they are across the map and there are other bigger threats in the match), it’s just not as fun to watch…
Don't worry. FFA tournie coming back Tuesday should help!
My favourite haggard play of the game was the against the HRE at the start when Turin said how bronzodia it was to not have a market while he was producing traders from his market 😂. Love the content Turin I've been on a straight binge of all your stuff for too long now!
So that last FFA 4 ppl teamed up like right away. Teal and blue said peace, orange surrendered to teal. Then Erza just straight up said kill Turin and I'll join you.
FFA is my favorite to watch but it's sad to see all the teams and alliances. Really is taking away the enjoyment. Possibly for next time have a no peace/alliance rule or something

FFA's were disappointing. When you play on a Turin FFA you have to accept that you're a bit of an NPC. Teaming up on him and taking him out just ends it for the viewer.

Don't use Farimba for upgrades cos they take the same time as barracks and don't have a discount. It does have a discount in time and cost of units though.

The teaming and schemes are fun, but when overdone or planned really take away from the fun of FFA's
That Malian 1v1 was chaos 😂 You kept saying Really need a marketplace and built a random one in your Woodline when there are a bunch of traders walking across your screen 🤣 Where did the traders come from.
Otherwise really fun... but the trading exploit poisons 1v1. It powerful enough to decide the game so it really forces you to do the same

I disagreee with the trade being an exploit. As in real life, a trader brings goods to an area, picks up money, goes to the nearest big city and picks up good for the return trip. It makes complete since. Its not abuse. Its excuses.
It's not how the developers wanted it to work, highlighted by the fact that two neutral trade sites are required for it to work. That is a bit of an exploit.
Realism has literally nothing to do with game balance in any RTS
In real life, most battles were chaotic, lopsided slogs and most soldiers died to disease. Not exactly a formula for engaging gameplay.
