🤔 they made the evo line, the 3000gt line and the eclipse line what are you talking about 😂 2 of them have a 4g63 and the other one has a 6g72 (which is able to hold 800hp on stock internals without breaking a sweat)

Mitsubishi should have produce a straight 6 to this engine an call it a 6g63
I just looked this up but they made an inline-6! Called the 6g34. It's only a SOHC inline-6 with 2.0L which is what the 4g63T is lol. If they did make a revision during their golden-era it probably would have been called like the 6g35 (or 6g38 because it's derived from a 6g3 inline-4 and the inline-6 is just kinda wedged in between the family names). It didn't even come with a turbo version so if they would have made the block a bit larger and bore out the cylinder bores a bit maybe to something like the 3.0L 2jz it would be interesting to see. It came in the Debonair which is relatively a large car too so it could have definitely been a possibility.

If you are wanting to build a drag car I would recommend the 4g63. Car for car as built it's more of a toss up.
