    A terrific defense that got the Knicks scoreless for about 7 minutes, AD controlling the ring, Reaves acting like a maestro, Prince locking up Brunson... Lakers fans were served tonight. Two straight convincing wins. Let's go Lakers!

    More minutes for Max Christie please. He's also shooting 40%+ from 3. Only issue is he doesn't know what to do in fast break situations. That's something we can build up

      @@adminavatar Not talking about just those. I noted he missed an easy pass to a trailing Lebron. There are at least a couple of times a game where if Max is dribbling up a fastbreak, he looks like he doesn't know what to do. He commits some turnovers when he dribbles too much, but I think that just means he's a better catch and shoot player than an offensive initiator

      DLo and Wood just cant do defense. Atleast AR tries. So with them both ingame team gives open shots. Also we have Bron to baby early game.

    04:13 Lebron holding the ball too much for too long... thats why offense become stagnant. Thats the difference between this game and the celtics game w/o lebron and ad.. Ball moved side to side, players cut, players were in rhythm to make shots. Holding the ball disrupts the rhythm, even though the basket went in...

    • @eccentricaste3232
      @eccentricaste3232 Před 3 měsíci

      I agree. Noticed that long time ago. I don't think the role players do well with that type of play. The problem is, if he misses or turns it over, it leads to a fast break point.

    • @Fieryvortex48
      @Fieryvortex48 Před 3 měsíci +1

      They beat the Celtics because they shot over 50% from 3. They also beat OKC with Lebron doing the same thing. What happens when they stop shooting hot from 3? Look at the Jazz game without Lebron. There's no one who can run the offense or generate a good enough shot. As soon as the shooting stopped, the lead disappeared.
      Run and gun from 3 only works when your team is hot from 3 and they swallow the whistle on the other end of the court. They didn't give Tatum FT's, but they gave Brunson FT's allowing the game to slow down. They wouldn't have been able to play the same way against the Knicks. And if we're being honest, the Celtics didn't play with much effort and thought they could walk to a free win. Josh Hart played with more energy and hustle than anyone on that Celtics team did

    • @Fieryvortex48
      @Fieryvortex48 Před 3 měsíci

      @@eccentricaste3232 Playing fast only gets you so far when the playoffs come. The Knicks game got slowed down since they actually got FT's compared to the Celtics. And the Knicks actually hustled back in transition while the Celtics went for lazy steals. That's why Derrick White/Holiday/Brown all got benched and the Celtics started to cut into the lead with their bench unit that was matching our energy. Wouldn't have worked the same unless the team is going to shoot 50%+ from 3 which is not sustainable
