Been looking for this for a long time. Got a recording on tape by DJ Marcello @ The Waakzaamheid where he plays this song.
This takes me back. This was one of the first house/edc compilation cd's my dad got, one of the 'Work' compilations bij Erick E. and Olav Basoski.

It is Valerie Simpson. Her voice was sampled from her 1971 track “I Don’t Need No Help”

@@dpalaoro it was definitely sampled from the track mentioned above. I know one thing: This is not India. It doesn't even sound like her.
