- The ASH-12 in Tarkov is probably one of the most difficult yet satisfying weapons in the game. I have a severe love hate relationship with this gun. Here are some raids running the gun and specifically running into other players in Escape from Tarkov PvP.

My favourite part of the ASH-12 is listening to the casing hit the ground and it sounds like someone dropped a crate of empty paint tins

That happens all the time when you have a streamer that has cloned himself, and when switching clones (to take a break so the clone can rest), he never knows what the Clone said... sometimes that happens. #DontUseClones
You know what I loved even more? He goes "Really you have an AKS bruh?", and I said to myself "Yeah, because he probably goes to work and spends 4 to 5 hours a day on EFT". I almost cracked a rib from the intense laughter/pity of DeadlySlob
And oh yeah the rest of you try-hards are also mutually despised in the gaming community. :) Retort as you will, my opinion will remain accurate and unwavering. I love how with that foregrip, the ASH-12 looks like a monstrously chonky .50 cal version of the Magpul PDW.

People sleep on the ASh-12 but it's honestly an amazing weapon, I always have fun when I take it out

27:35 by-the-book retreat with suppressive fire. This is the only fire-maneuver we trained on in the Jeager company lol.
I love it too man, it's just the damn range that blows me away everytime I go for a one tap in the head. Bullet just falls straight to their knee's!
its got like a 2 inch barrel shooting a heavy ass bullet my guy the muzzle velocity is basically non existant
@@robertdover5185 Not quite. It's a bullpup firing a subsonic, 12.7mm round. The barrel is easily 14 inches long. Never meant to be used at long range though.

That was actually really fun to watch.
Ash-12 definitely isn't my go to but every time I bring one out I have a blast. I get the best results on semi auto, but if you a clearing hallways and CQB areas it will smoke people in full auto. Also has +10 scare factor if you mag dump with no suppressor lol

I love the ASH-12, especially the sound without the suppressor, it's not a practical weapon by any means and you could buy so much better weapons for the price of it, but my God, they aren't nearly as fun (Except maybe a decked out Glock 18C with 10+ 50-round mags on Factory).

I had a lot of success with the Ash-12 last wipe. It launches freak'n bowling balls and people just fall over. I tend to keep it on semi 90% of the time.

Honestly. Ash-12 is my favorite weapon. Yeah it's hard to use and it's pretty costly, but damn is it fun to use and god damn does it 1-tap. I kind of treat it like an SR-25, keep it semi-auto. The only time I have it on full-auto is when I know the fight is about to get in nice and close.
Also take that suppressor off. Let them foolish mortals hear it. Shits so loud it shakes the damn map.
Honestly the sound of the casing hitting the floor is just amazing. Best part of the gun for me.

Lots of people have been sleeping on the Ash this wipe. Its recoil got reduced a ton, and PS12B has around a 50% chance to one-shot through class 5 armor. Its effective range is low due to a slow bullet velocity, which is admittedly a major downside, but in CQC the gun is exceptionally powerful.
its got a faster time to kill than m4 with m995 against all armor classes, it is criminally underrated imo
@@Alraygun range is huge in this game. Versatility vs performing exceptionally in one area.
I'd rather have a gun that can do it all, than one that can do one thing very very well.
Cmon man, dont let loose the secret. PS12B has always been super cheap on the market. I pretty much only ran the Ash-12 last wipe and it is great once you get used to it.

It's so deadly that's why I like it.
This gun uses 12.7x55 cartridge. This bullet is one bullet one kill machine but in this game we see that most of the time you cant kill someone with 3 bullets.

the ash is so fun to use, really effective from my experience, killed so many fully geared players last wipe with it
IRL it's purpose designed for close range < 100m urban combat, makes sense it'd be good in Tarkov.
It's basically a full-auto capable 45-70 lol

No love for the DVL-10 saboteur? That is my favorite. So quiet that anyone past 50 meters barely hears the shots. The ultimate sniper immersion weapon imho.

It was changed in the most recent patch
Activate CMS, then while it's going start packing mags. Same thing with any meds really. I just found this out recently.
AsH, the only true actual 50 cal rifle in the game. The other one is 50 bmg outta shotgun shell which actually perform better...
We need more LMG guns in the game like the L85, m2 browning, mg-42, shoot even older LMGs would be fun like the Lewis gun or something would be a lot of fun

the l85 isnt an lmg, the l86 is the LSW variant, the other 3 mentioned really dont make much sense in north west russia and the MG42 sucks ass
@@Knight_RG I think there's a possibility that we may see the Barrett M82 in Tarkov. It's a .50 BMG but it's not full auto. Just make it a heavy weapon with high recoil but very high damage and penetration stat.

Its a fairly cheap gun but the mags and the best round are really expensive to use, i love to rush to max level and use it. The PS12b is basically a higher flesh damage m80 and it just sounds too damn good
Ps12b is not that expansive. 450 rb at prapor 4. For the pen and damage it has even cheap i think.

Would be cool if certain ammo and guns were able to punch through walls. Maybe Ash would have a better use.
That is the exact opposite of its use. The reason you use a high caliber low velocity straight cased round is it’s low range low pen blunt trauma. The bullet transfers a huge amount of trauma through body armor, without over penetrating in urban areas. It’s usually referred to as a “thumper round”. The round doesn’t even try to penetrate armor, just crush whatever is underneath it. The strap on any helmet that took that round would break your neck if it was under your chin.
@@jsizzlesaurusrex while you are correct on thumper rounds, this high caliber ammo is waaay more versatile. I believe the initial reason to make a .50 cal AR was to have a subsonic bullet that can bust a truck engine or heavy body armor. High caliber allows to have a really heavy hardened steel penetrator which, as a side effect, loses little to no energy penetrating obstacles like concrete and wood when travelled at subsonic speed. The game has only 3 bullet types but there are much more of them IRL. I would not be amazed to find out there is a hypersonic saboted tungsten penetrator round which can go through tank armor.
@@iwantnod actually It was the dismembrement capabilities of a 50. Cal. The fsb wanted a cqc gun so powerful that It could completely make the enemy go down with one bullet everywhere in the body to ensure fast breachings and safer ingagements

why uses CMS not SURV12? CMS will decrease maximum health by half.

Jesus Christ, outside of that one guy at Emercom extract, everyone was running shit gear. 1.5 months into the wipe. I started playing this wipe in September, I haven't seen anyone below tier 4 armor outside of the blue armor quests. It's all juiced squads out there.

Why? Because 12,7x55mm. Thats why. You can never go wrong with a .50 cal. Bigger is better.

when bullets are good on paper but sucks in tarkov § same with 366 AP one of the best rounds but is so unreliable that people just choose rounds they can spray just because of dsync and lagg
