This is our Van tour of the 6,9 m long wolksvagen Crafter 2007 model. We have a unique bedframe that has tree settings. Bed, sofa and balcony. We also used alot of second hand materials and pallets. The van is solar powerd with 2x 100 watts panels. And a 140 amph AGM deepcyle battery so we can go off grid. Hope you like our home, and get inspired to start your own van conversion.
Our first van trip was up to beautiful Lofoten in Norway, we traveld for one month and fell in love with the van life movment.

Am so completely in love with your bed/ balcony. 💕💕 I wish we could have got a cute van, but with a teenager we needed more space so got a motorhome in the end. Still, it doesn't stop us having amazing adventures- just about to head off to Germany and Norway! Give Lucy a hug from us- she is ridiculously cute. 😀

that toilet space could also expand a little out and forward into the middle of the van to serve as a bathroom / laundry as well ... the balcony can also serve as a roof for an outside sitting / kitchen etc area ... or a summer bathroom ...

BEautiful, simplistic, unique design! We are considering a van & appreciate that you showed your layout. Very neat idea with the sliding bed/lounger/balcony. You must not have to worry too much about bugs, mosquitos, and other flying insects in Norway! We would need a bug net around us in most of the places that we've been!
What kind of toilet do you plan on getting?

I would love to see how you guys fit your longboards in the van - I also longboard so I’ve always been looking at how to fit it in the van
I love that bed. The only thing that is bothering me is how the ropes hang loose when the bed is in couch mode. Someone could get their feet caught up in the ropes, or the dog could start chewing on them or get its head in them while jumping of the bed. For safety, I would put some hooks on the walls and on the suitcase to simple lock the ropes in place along the wall. That would be a quick and easy fix.

That bed is quite fantastic. Y'all ought to do a video of just how you made the bed. Like what the frame/platform is made of, the slide, what rope, hinge and other hardware is used.

I would very much like to see how you made that bed so that it converts between "modes" , couch, balcony and bed. I live in a 6ftx12ft cargo trailer, and that is still my biggest challenge.
pnolans I think the concept it kind like that of a futon with the main part of the bed on castors and when it is hanging outside the ropes hold it tight so it doesnt fall. Im sure the wood underneather is cut into sections and then held together by hinges. It then looks like the whole contraption is set into the premade box over top the back storeage onto of that box is where you should put the casters for the bed.

I'm a boondocker with a dog named Lacy. She insists on sitting in the passenger seat when we are driving. She sits with extremely good posture, and seems to think she's the Queen of England. Except when she hangs out the window like evey dog. :)
I here the Queen likes to hang out of her window as well, is Lacy a Corgi lol.

I am working on a sweater for Birk but that is taking me a while.. hopefully I’ll have more time when it’s 100% vanlife and taking one day at a time.

Debora Kemp 1)if your pet smells bad you should probably do better, taking care of it. The queen has dogs I’m quite sure they aren’t stankin’ up the palace. 2)there are plenty pet friendly places, in fact, most are 😏🤪🤓

very cool video, very cool van, i love that you not only showed clearly what you have done to the van, the clever and tasteful beech shack look and feel inside a modern van with clever bed, but also balanced the video with the point of the van, showing lots of beautiful isolated places you can go and be with it away from 'normal' accomodation, and good times surfing and playing! have a great trip!
