The apartment was mostly concrete, metal, grey and cold. Detached from nature.
The new place looks so warm and all wood. even got a small yard!

You can always hang a creative billboard, original works or eligious/spiritual charms on the wall, but I think circular or a cluster of small mirrors would look wonderful next to the doorway. They will bounce the sunlight off nearby and they would blend in nicely.

Both the old and the new home are beautiful! The old one was so industrial and cool toned, and the way it was constructed with small floors on top of each other was so cool! (don‘t have anything like that in Germany). The new home is so warm and cozy and traditional Japanese (don‘t have that in Germany, either), and I love the open kitchen and dining area :D Hope you make great memories and cooking videos (as always) in the new home :) Happy new year!
