- this couple was absolutely hilarious; as many viewers, from the start of the series I couldn't imagine them ending up together, and my heart was all for Fu Heng and Yingluo, but then after a certain episode you realize there is something unique and special between the Emperor and Yingluo that you can't help love their dynamic. Don't get me wrong, I still cried at the end during the parting scene for Fu Heng's characters. That broke my heart.
But yeah I just wanted to make a tribute of these two since CZcams doesn't seem to have many at all.

For Emperor Yinglao was the women that he never got bored with. Even when she was not a consort he had an unconscious affection toward her because she was different, a wild flower. In the other hand Yinglao's first love was indeed Fuheng, a deep pure love which wasn't their destiny. A free love that she choose unlike with Emperor with whom she had no other chance just to accept the fate and with time grow affection toward him. If you ask me which was a true love for Yinglao I will immediately answer Fuheng, and if you ask the same thing for Emperor than is Yinglao. Emperor loved the late Empress because it was his youth, the one who knew him the best, the one who he hid nothing since she was in every step with him. But Yinglao is someone whom he liked in adulthood, he was not forced to choose unlike with late Empress whom he married when he was fifteen years old. He loved her for strangeness.
this love story felt so classic, like seriously. and it was acted so beautifully and the love never obstructed any of the storylines or anything it just flowed into the plot, like how you could see the affection growing. thank you for this lovely edit!!! such an amazing drama, and wild yet captivating pairing :)
What a beautiful video! I sincerely left Fuheng from the moment I thought that she could "help" Yingluo by solving everything with Hongzhou which made her abandon any hope with her character. Yingluo and Hongli made me a better dynamic from the beginning, I was very excited when it turned out to be real uwu
yes! yes! i liked Fuheng and Yingluo, same way i liked Empress Fuca with and Qianlong; and by the end, i think both Yingluo and Hongli kept feelings for their respectives past loves. BUT, Hongli and Yingluo had an amazing development and dynamic, they kept each others on their toes, they admired each other's cunning and resourcefullness and were never bored together. Long term (desregarding the historical facts lol) their relationship was the right one, and the real one, grounded on respect and equality. I mean, as much as it was possible considering the insurmountable power gap with him being Emperor. It was more than he could''ve had with any partner.
The amazing thing is they based this off history but added fiction to the parts that weren't recorded. We'll never know what Yingluo was like but we do no she was a servant who became an imperial noble consort and was favored by the emporer.
@@dannguyen6665 I also realized recently that a character in this great drama, "Ruyi's royal love in the palace" is also based off the same person as yingluo is, but the characters in both are perceived so differently! Both are based on the same historical event, but both have different perspectives/stories. I was completely shocked when I connected them both! I've watched both, and I'm surprised how I didn't connect them earlier

Fuheng was too weak to be a good long term match for her. She needed someone strong like the Emperor. And he needed someone like her who would teach him how to treat a woman like a partner and companion rather than like a cute pet

This loved this video showing different scenes in the Emperor and Yingluo's relationship. This a truly a Love Story.❤
This was the biggest show in the year it was released it broke all google records for searches. China censored it for some reason but they shouldn't have. The same year this was released shortly after Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace was also released and while the latter may have been more factual I hate it because I hated the emperor. This emperor is up there with Love Like The Galaxy's Emperor. Here we have a man who has NEVER heard the word NO. Who had his empress picked out and wed by the age of 15. He loved her in his own way. The rest are picked with regards to his pass times. Opera, Chess intellectual, gentle and kind. When the reality was most of these concubines would have cut the throats of all the others. As we witnessed been in the Harem was a lonely life because unless he flicked that tag you might never see him. If you had a son he was immediately given to the empress to raise. Then along comes a tiny little maid who pulled the rug out from under him he had never met anyone like her before. He was intrigued from the very first meet. His side kick sent out to find the maid was hilarious. His side kick however actually liked Yingluo because when she was around he was happy. He even got jealous of our doctor when he first arrived on the scene because he was looking to long at Yingluo. The lady who plays her is stunning and some of the hairstyles did her no favours. Her true beauty was when her hair was down. She loved with her whole heart and felt their pain deeply. I LOVE THIS SHOW

I could NEVER understand how she could love someone that was not her first love and leave her first lover. How was she able to turn her heart to the emperor when she first felt for fuheng? I'm hurt that she was actually destined to happily live together with fuheng forever but the emperor really felt the love the same as fuheng did to her and so the emperor got her first and blocked fuheng's way. In addition, the emperor though had the same potential and the same heart as fuheng. I guess that is still a win for yinglou...

He treated her awful. Only later it changed, but this man was so harsh.
Emporer is more compatible as YingLuo life couple than Fuheng whose weak personality clashed with her. Whereas the personalities of Qianlong & YingLuo are cross between a big boss & a child that their childlike games of outsmarting each other are amusingly funniest 🤣 😆 😂

you might find 'MingFei Comes Across' a little more comforting LOL. In the drama the consorts and concubines all have their own interests and the main character tries to avoid the Emperor and just have her own life...there in the harem.
