If this is real, they've nailed some key technologies, but the real ones are far better than they could have imagined. Portable printer and family hologram. 😂
Well it's amusing because it misses the step of adding smartphones and how we had a gap there where everyone stopped wearing watches mostly then they got smart and now a lot of people wear them again lol.
The idea of a completely virtualized version of most of your documents being accessed from a pocket computer that could send any of those files to any other device instantly probably seemed so implausible as to be inconceivable and the portable network connected printer seems sane by comparison (from their point of view in the 80s).
The idea that you'd use different finger prints for each seperate thing you want locked, is so telling they had no concept of centralised information storage
TOMORROW'S WORLD. I used to love watching this program back in the day. Vastly underrated. Some already come true. Used to take a break from homework to watch. The smart watch. Portable printer. Suit went off in a different direction bullet proof and stain waterproof resistant. Love to watch latest restart of the series on CZcams.
Had no faith we'd fix the transport problems

That devils horn salute at the begening its real now .
Funny, the last one would have seemed the most unlikely, but is the only one to be fully realized. 3d headset are common today.
Back when we looked forward to the future. Now it seems so bleak.
Funnily enough, they got the prediction of smartwatches weirdly right

why would you need a portable printer if everyone has smart watches with internet connection to computers....
Because computers talking like in Star Trek would probably take 100 more years 😅
Maybe official documents? Even today I’ve had to have notarized originals as places will only accept those for legal issues
Internet wasn't a thing then like it is today

Pretty spot on predictions!
The two people in black, their clothes don't look stupid enough.
I loved watching Tomorrow’s world as a kid. It really appealed to me.
That headset looks like it's on backwards.

I've got ads in Gmail for work suits with fans inside, useful for Thai hot weather.
amusing how they start with a woman wearing what looks like a hijab/burqa, call it what you will...
Rather the first indication of indoctrination to prepare people for changes.
You mean the majority that WERENT EVEN BORN YET???
ahhhh, you noticed the hijab as well?
