I had this one in Purple back in '69. Man I wished I'd have kept all those cars from '67-'69. Some of them ended up in my son's car box in the '90s.

Another great resto! I’ve got a red w/black Seasider. It’s a little beat up, I might restore it but at the moment I’m focusing on some restos for a friend. I restore his cars and he pays me with Hot Wheels. I’m also gathering the stuff for the Lotus Turbine in fluorescent red. Thanks for the video and inspiration.

Nice restoration! I got a seasider a while back, and unfortunately it had a snapped-off rear wheel. I don't have the materials to start restoring cars at this point in my life, so I decided to glue on a back-cap from a repro "redline conversion" set of wheels and put on an original cap that matched the condition so that it doesn't look off!

It is a cool looking casting brother, I'm not sure if I've seen one of these before. That is a magnificent piece to add to your collection, maybe one day if you feel up to it I would really enjoy seeing a video of your collection. Another beautifully restored Redline brother.

I've never seen this casting before, it's pretty unique. That two tone paint job is sweet man, great job.
I had one in purple as a kid in '69.
How come the redlines shop doesn't have popular windshields and replacement engines anymore ?
These things take a long time to make and at the moment just wasn’t willing to put in the extra time to make them anymore. But you can’t get them from Second Chance Redlines

Nice 👍 do you know of any other castings that use that engine? The short order,57 chevy and sugar caddy all have the post on the opposite side of the engine
