    Reason why i like you to other reviewers
    1. you have a soft subtle voice wich is great. your not shouting or repeating things to "try" to gain popularity / attention. Wich is great for easy listening and not bashing my ears and loud enough to not struggle hear what you are saying.
    2. you review odd or off track products that other youtubers dont tend to review because there not mainstream products and this opens up to people buying new products.
    3. You take your time and dont rush giving reviews "your own" opinion not being swaded by companies or influenced by outside sources.
    Keep it going its great 👍

    Quick tip - The resin shields and heads are so that you can make all of the Gauls aside from the command with shields. The heads for command figures are on the sprues with the regular warriors, and the way this is packed, there is an extra command sprue and you would be short 10 heads. So you get the resin heads to make up the difference.
    I've also found that after you clean up the mould lines on the resins figures, if you run some Tamiya extra thin liquid cement over the cleaned lines, it smooths everything out really well.

    Nice of Warlord to send you that for an unboxing . Cant wait to see some game play video's .
    Have a look at a company called Victrix , they do a really nice plastic range of ancient Greeks , Romans , Celts and Carthaginians ( including naked dude ) . 😁

    • @EidolonSpecus
      @EidolonSpecus Před 3 lety

      I can vouch for Victrix's celts being historically-accurate in their equipment, except for the "naked fanatics"
      The whole "Celts had mad naked warriors" thing is more of an ancient meme than anything. Gaulish mercenaries would market themselves around the mediterranean as being so _leet_ that they eschewed any clothing, but would then actually show up with textile armor like literally everyone else.

    Fun little bit of history to add to this wonderful Saturday video: SPQR was the abbreviation for the Senatus Populusque Romanus, or The Roman Senate and People. They'd stamp it on monuments, documents, money, important things. However, please don't think I'm smart or anything … I actually learned that watching ManyATrueNerd's Rome: Total War videos lol

    Warlord Games has WW2 done really well, Bolt Action where we play Axis Vs U.S. /allies is done really well. You can play Polish, British, Russian, Italian, Japanese etc if you want also. Vehicles and infantry are well catered for and 4 Ground does good WW2 buildings. This game begs the question doesn't it. .. if it was Julius Caesar Vs king Leonidas of the Spartan 300, who would win ? 34:58 look at that display cabinet !

    Hey, thanks for this video, its really hard trying to find games like this even googling "roman miniature game"
    Just wanted to say, you seem to have a little terminology mixup. "Flock" or "Flocking" refers to static grass used for terrain for minis and dioramas, meanwhile "mold lines", or as they're otherwise known (and where I'm suspecting a little confusion) "Flashing" is referring to the bits of plastic that are remnants of the mold process. Love the video!

    Congratulations!!! These 'unboxing' videos are among the best I've seen on YT. Also loved your 'BOB' Bolt Action video... The Close Ups, (IN PERFECT FOCUS, other You Tubers!!!) really show off the product/s, miniatures to prospective buyers. You really take your time to show what's presented and it's clear you know your subject matter, (which I still think is WEIRD for A GIRL, but then I'm a VERY old Irishman) in fact, you're like AN ADVERT for The Canadian Department Of Education!!! More seriously, your diction, vocabulary and a rather 'laid-back' if enthusiastic presentational style really engage the viewer in an entertaining and informative way. Really Top-Notch You-Tubing!!! (You're also quite handy with a W&N Series 7, I notice!!!) After all these COMPLIMENTS, a REQUEST??? More HISTORICALS, please? xx SF

    You spqr is interesting because now that you did a little hands on with it I can comprehend it and the interesting thing is like when painting your miniatures what color would you paint your things and in this spqr what did people in the past color their war gear and it was well what color do you want to paint your war gear and I'm Warhammer you can paint your war gear as if you were doing real war gear in the past so that's neat that you can pick what to color your war gear with in Warhammer. But they obviously made a selection well someone did who designed the color of the war gear used by whoever I believe those are called tailors. But that's one of the things about Warhammer you get to pick the color you want or would use like they did in the old days or spqr days not only colors but what to also design you things or items like the board on top the spear someontpit that there and again like I Warhammer you also get to select the items you wants by selecting the units or which units you want. This is exactly what Warhammer is and why it can exist or does it's the same thing as what so many others have done but now not doing anything so I cease this
