I'm so sorry you got bullied for that. I was also bullied into removing my hair, I also have face hair. I grew confidence over time, but sometimes it's still hard to embrace it in certain environments. But thank you for talking that openly about it and not making it sound as if removing hair is more natural or something and all women must look like babies where there would be hair normally.
I'm a certified organizer and I can tell you this is very common. The bathroom is the hardest area to keep organized because we keep so many categories of things in there and use so many of them regularly. You can expect that you'll likely feel the need to go through your bathroom relatively regularly to keep it organized and clutter free. I recommend just figuring out an interval to regularly "Kon Mai" the space before it gets out of control. (Or let it get out of control because I really enjoy these videos. Your call!)
Something that might be helpful for you that I do when I shop is "Do I have space for this right now? Where would I put it?" Most of the time I'll put the item back on the shelf.
Bathroom product that I love is my scalp brush. It just gives me that little illusion of luxury when I shower, haha. And I just bought a nice body wash/scrub from Walmart. It's a coffee/coconut scrub. Love it!

Iâm with you on the childhood drama/trauma in regard to my body hair. The worst is that Iâm a blonde with black leg hairâŠand now being older, my facial hair is darker along with thick peach fuzz UGH!! Itâs a never ending battle! You have inspired me to go through my makeup and bathroom cabinetsâŠI will be able to get rid of soooo much! I am also going to gather all my house cleaning products and figure out what I use and donât use. I donât have a ton of storage and taking care of these small but important things will make a huge difference in the way my house looks. Thanks for the continued inspiration!

I straight up use Old Spice deodorant because they are aluminum free. I really like the OASIS with vanilla notes. Its just in with the men's deodorant section at pretty much any store. Maybe I'm a little weird but I've used men's deodorant since high school. I know its not like "all natural" but it is aluminum free and it works for me. I'm a chiropractor so I work hard and am in close contact with other people everyday and no one wants a smelly doc in their personal bubble so I use the Old Spice.

I hear your supposed to detox for a couple weeks with bentonite clay in the armpits before starting natural deodorants!
Same and mens razors are also so much better and less expensive.
I know how you feel about having an abundance of hair. When I was in Jr High, a guy named Reggie sat behind me and called me "fuzzy" due to my arm hair. I did what any humiliated girl would do and shaved my arms with my mom's pink Daisy razor. Years later, I used Epilady speed corded epilator. Yes, painful as heck, but over time there was less and less growth to virtually none. (I can't lie, I'd like to use that Epilady on Reggie. đ€) Best and favorite clean-smelling perfume (received compliments for the past 25 years) is Garden Botanika's "Heart". đ Luv your videos, Mai! đ

I really just love your energy and how open you are about natural body stuff! I really appreciate the honesty. Also, a natural deo that works for me is schmidts, but I do have to put on a good amount to be covered for the entire day

The spare bottles of lotion, alcohol etc would take less room standing up on the right side drawer and be less likely to leak which might give you more accessible room for your feminine products on the left.

Love your videos, fellow Texan hereâŠ. I moved in with my, now husband, in 2005 to his bachelor pad house. I have been purging and decorating ever since. Our kids have moved in and out and now my father in law lives with us so it makes decluttering hard with family moving in and out constantly. Glad to feel normal knowing I am not the only one that has stuff I literally do not need. After heart issues now I donât have the energy but you do inspire me, so thank you for that (and all your hacks).

Iâve been using a clear shoe bin for feminine hygiene items for years!!!! It works so well!!!
RE: feminine hygiene - You should try a menstrual cup! I've been using a cup for several years at this point and it works great! Way more comfortable than tampons etc and cuts down on the clutter! One cup lasts a long time, so you save money too.

However, if you are out and about it can be a little tricky, because once you take it out, and spill it, you need to wash it before inserting it back in. So, if you do not have access to water in a public restroom, just wear a pad or a tampon.
Mixing pads/tamps and a cup is still better than just using tamps :)
I love how you show all the random stuff like the diapers, hair removal etc. I also tried to embrace not shaving and went a few months but I just don't like the feel of wind blowing my leg hairs but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I have used Truleys natural deodorant for years including in Afghanistan and I live in Phoenix. I don't know if you've tried that one but I have noticed I have gotten less smelly since the years of using it.
Lol I tried the not shaving too. I kept yelling at my hubby to quit tickling my legs until I figured out it was the ceiling fan blowing on my legs lol

Looove the Thayers rose toner! I truly believe it makes a difference when i use it every morning. I have oily/acne prone skin as well so it helps get that dirt and oil off my skin and makes me feel refreshed!

Ahh love Mondays đ I am now inspired to reduce the ridiculous amount of makeup products I have that I never use because I truly only use one eyeshadow pallette myself. But may favorite product I use after washing my hair is Unite Leave-in-conditioner. Smells so good and smooths out my thick hair.

I'm proud of you Mai! You did an awesome job!!!!! I hear you about the sweaty smelly person! I get so paranoid about myself as I sweat easy and I feel like I can smell my pits way too easy. Grrr....I haven't found the perfect deo. I've had a hysterectomy so thank God I don't have to worry about any of that kind of stuff anymore. I truly do NOT miss having a period....or one that lasts forever. Regarding makeup. I loved trying so many different things from Ulta but then I started to have skin issues. I literally had to stop all skincare & beauty/makeup products and then very slowly start using one product for several days. Then, add another product, etc. Now, I stick to a small amount of products and always the same brand. Must be something about aging!!! I'm only 51! Everything started in my mid to late 40's.

My favorite toiletry item is the Tresemme leave in conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and easy to brush through. I definitely recommend!
Sometimes when my room, ugh I hate it being messy and I need to be a cleanly lady.

Pro organizer here. In my professional opinion, I have a feeling the clear bin for the pads is not going to work. Functionally it is too hard to get to and to have to dig out would be frustrating. Especially when you have 4-6 days out of the month when you are in there. I would find clear refrigerator style bin to put your pads in and have it sit on top of the drawers under the cabinet. Great job on the declutter. You let a ton go! It looks amazing.
I agree, put the toothpaste I that hard to reach stuff and keep your monthly supplies where you can get to it easily.
I'd just pull that clear bin out when shark week starts and then put them back when it starts. It looks like a great storage solution to me - slides in the dead space when not needed but is easy enough to remove when needed.
I love the dry shampoo you use. I bought it off your recommendation and it's one of the best I've tried.

I have just found your channel. I like the fact that you are so open and honest. Its very refreshing! I would try clinical strength deoderant persperant. My favorite makeup is NYX.
I didn't see this in the comments; but another good reason to clear out your makeup is to throw away anything that is too old. Ditto medications you leave in your bathroom. My first cleanout resulted in tossing otc drugs that had been expired several years. Some of which had never even been opened. It was an eye-opener regarding waste so I have been more conscious of what I have now so there is less money going down the drain.

My holy grail is e.l.f. Matte putty primer. I used to spend a lot more on a different primer but love this one!
My favorite product are the pore strips. It is very satisfying to pull those off and see the dirt that comes out. I tried Native as well and it did okay with the smell, but the sweating was so annoying. I went back to the same secret deodorant that I used to use.
I really love Mavie eye shadow pallettes. I got them in Goldie Boxed and they are awesome.

All time most favorite product: L'Oreal Paris Ever Pure Purple Shampoo. I finally stopped dying my hair (started at 16 to cover grays) at 32 and this shampoo/conditioner keeps my whites and greys so bright and good looking
Hello! I'm using mild/natural deodorants for years now and Touch up once a Day, twice if i'm going out after work. If i have the feeling, that I am smelling a bit I use hand sanitising gel before applying the deo. That works quite well.

I have been decluttering my house since March of this year 2021 we are really at the finish line just about now and to keep from having to re-decluttering everything things I didnât need to be in the house either got trash put on the curb for free pick up or donate it now were using a container system which means I am buying multiple sizes of containers and labeling things and I put things on shelves in my massive basement which was once cluttered so much you could barely walk now almost is like a skating rink completely clear of all clutter things are on shelves labeled and marked properly makes cleaning the house so much super fast and easier now because now even the basement clean
My sister is also an oily, sweaty, and smelly person and she switched to the salt deodorant a couple years ago and it really works!
I love love love watching your declutter videos!!! Itâs very therapeutic watching it all get purged, sorted and organized. Iâm an organizer at heart and canât help but group like items together automatically in my mind. As I was watching you organize your under sink cabinetsâŠ..I so wanted to change one little thing. Your current setup might be perfect for youâŠ.but I totally wanted you to put the tampons in that small organizer you ended up putting the extras razor blades in and put THOSE in the circle swivel container with the overflow stuff. The tampons would probably fit in there nicely in their side and then you could have all of your feminine products togetherâŠand then the razors are considered extra âoverflowâ items and make more sense (in my mind anyway) to be with other overflow stuff. See what Iâm throwing down here? Lol.
AlsoâŠ.I kinda wanted you to have both overflow pull out drawers stacked together and then your hair products/tools on the other side all by themselves. And one last thingâŠ.it looked like you had some extra space in the left cabinet for the package of undies (in the backâŠ.out of the way). Just sayin.

Congrats! It looks amazing! I use the clear lil caddies around my house too. I used1, I purchased f/ Wal-Mart in bthrm. stuff for multiple remotes & randon items on a nightstand. I purchased2of the1drawer clear/white containers f/ Wal-Mart for t.p., space on top, if needed & if is a water leak, t.p., won't get wet. Also, I have white basket on đœ, for toiletries, such as Pantene, Herbal Essences.You can see what you have. If a shampoo, doesn't have much left, you can put upside down, it'll be ready to use, & you won't have to beat bottle, on it, whenever, you get into the tub. Don't forget to wash make-up brushes. Maybe get a new toothbrush too.

I bounce around between a lot of my products but I think I'm ready to do a deep clean and declutter. Thanks for this video for inspiration. This video makes me think you are the only one using this bathroom? I have a really hard time trying to leave my hubby room to get ready and still have the stuff I use easily available.
The stackable clear drawers from Amazon works well for feminine products. They have different sizes. Also I use clear shoe pocket over the door organizers for beauty products. Keeps cabinets & counters clear

Bare Minerals I include because I used to use it...when ai could afford it. I never felt I was wearing make up, literally. I use e.l.f. liquid foundation, wet n wild blush and Physician's Formula mascaras...my eyes are VERY sensitive...highly recommend these mascaras.

Cetaphil facial cleanser and Aveeno daily brightening facial scrub...mix it them together in my hand and then apply it on my face. Been doing this for a LONG time. Shout color catchers are SENSATIONAL!!!! They have been such big help with preventing colors from bleeding onto my other clothes...save water and the time one used there wash loads are less. If the clothes are brand new then I suggest using 3 or 4 sheets...usually 1 or 2 will get the job done. I got so elaborate.
Being 8 months pregnant. Favorite toiletries right now is the trilastin stretch mark lotion. Doesn't leave skin sticky and I love the smell! It smells like a lemon dessert.
I started using an old kikkoman soy sauce bottle for my mouthwash. It's the perfect size without being unweildly and it fits in my bathroom cupboard. As long as you don't mind the color of the cap, it's a perfect re-use item. You could even make a pretty label with your cricut
I shaved half of my head and kept it for a while. I'm growing it out now so my favorite product is gotta be glued. It keeps my new hair from sticking straight up!

I use native deodorant but in the shower I wash my armpits with pan oxyl (a benzoil peroxide based face wash for acne) I learned that tip from a dermatologist, it cleans the bacteria (which is what causes the smell) really well and continues to neutralize it for several hours afterwards as well so I get smelly WAY less quickly when I do that. Then I apply my native deodorant and Iâm good literally for two days which I know doesnât sound like much but Iâm typically pretty sweaty/smelly so for me itâs great!
My holy grail product is Image brand tinted sunscreen. It matches all skin tones and offers great coverage but is really sunscreen so itâs got you covered.
My favorite product is lotion. My sister is oily but I actually have really dry skin - face, hands, basically everywhere. I usually just use the Suave brand as it works great, but sometimes opt for Nivea during the winter.
I love the Moroccanoil leave in conditioner. My hair is supple and frizz free!
