As the city of Versia still lies under raider occupation, one lone warrior makes a desperate last attempt to save it.This 'lone warrior', however, would turn out to be something far greater than what had been seen before.
Many years ago, he himself wielded the blade of mass destruction during an invasion and managed to fend off the attackers. However, despite what was written he did not take his own life, believing that the power of the blade may prove useful at a later time, despite being corrupted.
He was banished from Versia, and he could not return under any circumstance.However, he had already made up his mind.

If this video was posted TECHNICALLY yesterday, howcome the NPCs are wearing outfits from PAST versions of the game?
@@ezrafaulk1799 I play on earlier versions due to the availability of certain mods :)
@@CptShibe Like WHAT exactly? Because I can tell you that the U9 version of MMP has WAY more and way more INTERESTING weapons than the U7 version; I would know because I actually SUGGESTED some to Sushin, the guy who made and developes it. In FACT, now that U9's out, LOTS of high quality mods're being updated to work with it; I'll give you that the FLAIL mods seem to've been abandoned, but Fisher's Elemental Firearms Framework, MMP, The Outer Rim, LOTS of popular, high quality mods're being updated to U9 now that it's out, and in at least SOME cases, the authors of those that HAVEN'T been updated yet are actually WORKING on updating them as we speak; they were just WAITING for U9 to be released.
Of course, it WOULD be nice to see a mod that brought a lot of the NPC outfits from previous versions back, as well as flexible weapons like the flails and whips, but I'm SURE it'll happen eventually.
@@ezrafaulk1799 I check for new/updated mods every single day, i used to play with the outer rim on u7 (but i dont find that fun anymore), and although it seems cool and all, my current problem is that i dont enjoy Vanilla combat, and i prefer the older (more varied) models :) My favorite combat overhaul mod (Sluggas Combat Overhaul) is my prefeered one, and i simply find the vanilla game extremely boring without it.
Incase you havent noticed, i dont play with that interesting weapons either. Im not really intrigued by the modded guns, magical swords, and whatever else weird weapon hybrids people release, i just enjoy the classical combat, and am a pretty big fan of some magic here and there.
I barely use any weapons besides Sushins Medieval MegaPack, so in general the idea of upgrading to U9 simply to get more weapons isnt good enough for me.

TLDL: I'm not a very big fan of the vanilla combat system, and the new features that U8/U9 has brought to the scene isn't enough for me to brush that aside.
@@ezrafaulk1799 But dont get me wrong, everytime I see what new weapons have been added to MMP i get tempted to switch, but again, simply can't live without my Combat Overhaul ;P
But the mystery is what still needs to be done
