The Northern lights were crap anyway could bearing see them with the naked eye here in Cambridge and only my camera phone caught the different colours green purple etc. I don't why people get so excited about this shit!!! I would find it more exciting to see meteors burn up in the night sky particularly that one that flew over that city in Siberia Russia 11 years ago.
@nicenac What you're actually seeing is solar gas trying to penetrate the atmosphere. Basically, the slow destruction of the universe. Actually, nothing good about that. Although I appreciate the beauty of nature. Everything changes, that's for sure . Nothing remains the same.
I saw them yesterday night and took some pictures. It was beautiful. I never thought I'd get the chance to see them!

@claremaidofthewave251 I'd say it was at best from 10:50pm - 11:45pm? Atleast that was more or less when I was viewing it.

Visibility helped by the god awful air spraying yesterday here on the south coast. One of the worst days I've seen, constant planes criss crossing all day. Coincedence? How can one not see a flight path all day, but another day feel like you live next to Heathrow.

Just remember that it is the indigenous people of Norway, the Sami, who own the northern lights. So if you see it, it would be nice if you pay the fee to the Sami. The easiest way is to contact the Sami embassy in New York to book an appointment to pay the fee.

luckily we were able to see something in northern Kent, but for a while i mistook them for wisps of cloud until i noticed them kind of fading in and out.

Of course. The clouds are fake, the weather is manipulated, so what makes them think anything is natural about it. I can't believe everyone fell for it again after the last thing they pulled 4 years ago. I've had a headache all weekend and now a sore throat as well.

That’s interesting, as here in southern Tasmania last night we had an amazing Southern Aurora happening. Didn’t see it myself but there are lots of great shots from others online😊

There were quite a few of us out here in Cheshire last night between 11-12 o’clock. You couldn’t see much with the naked eye because of light pollution. But looking through the camera you could get some very good pictures.

Solar storms can be pretty problamatic, and it's still raging , i wouldnt rest just yet.
The way I was in my room, asleep, despite knowing it would hapoen yesterday, and preparing at sunset. I closed my cutains becuas eof the light, and to wait for it to get dark, ended up forgetting. So mad at myself. If only i kept the curtains open.

Greta no doubt will say this is a Portent that we are not doing enough on Climate, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the other four days will be spent flying to spread the Doom at different venues, all whilst support the plasticine lot🤣🤣. I've seen the Lights several times, a couple of times without light pollution and it was truly amazing.

Beautiful! I got up at 2 am here in Michigan to see it, but because of the ongoing prevention of farming, it was raining again.
I think I saw this around quarter to midnight last night. I just thought it’s just Like a strange looking cloud. Now I realised why there are some folks near the river around that time. Didn’t bother taking a picture though as im not aware it’s the northern lights
Looked out several times but never saw a sign of them. My niece who lives 6 miles away but in clearer skies did!😢😢😢
