Probably the best portrayal of Penguin, in my opinion.

I love Gotham, but Penguin is what got me into the show, he's my absolute favourite out of all the characters and there is a lot and that won't change no matter what Oswald ends up doing, and Robin Lord Taylor is such a lovely guy, I really hope the best for him and his career, I just hope he never leaves Gotham because I would be devastated lol. :D

Robins portrayal of the Penguin is probably the best interpretation bar none. I grew up watching Burgess Meredith in the original Batman series of the 60s, obviously played for laughs. Then Danny De Vito was just plain odd in the movies, But Robin has nailed it. He is simply brilliant and brings a real sense of menace whilst at the same time looking perfectly amenable. A remarkable actor who is well chosen for the role.

I love how classy RLT always is. He's very supportive of all the different variations of Batman, he focuses on the good when talking about the less well-received films like Batman v Superman, and he's always pointing out the crew and cast as the reasons for the success. I am so glad we are in the golden age of television, where being on a drama or comedy is more coveted than an actual movie (at least, that's the impression I get from the rise of Netflix and Hulu and Amazon).
I'm a new Gotham fan. I just finished season four. The Penguin is the MVP of this series. Robin's portrayal is by far the best Live action Penguin. He's wonderful in the role. I'm sad the show got canceled. I'm going to miss these characters.

@@CloroxBleach-kt1gk he wouldn't do that, it's so not in character of him. That's why i love him, he's bad, absolutely, but he still has a heart. And it was shown so many times in the show. He cares about Gotham, he cares about Ed, he cares about Martin, he cared about his mom, he cared about Sofia (before he found out the truth about her), he may be a villain but he is actually very human and has big heart.
I know the topic of penguin and riddler is a controversial topic but I think it's amazing because penguin doesnt even know what his emotions are he never felt love and everyone he loved died in front of him. So when ed comes in and is nice to him it prompts him to fall in love or what he thinks is love while at the same ed has loved many people and let them go every quickly and decides to not reciprocate the emotions after penguin murdered his ex girlfriend. It's almost ironic well it is ironic. But if you notice the way ed acts with the sexual hallucination and refusing to actually kill penguin again it hints he has some deeper emotions. Honestly I just want them to kiss and make up already.
Penguin is a sociopath, so it's true that he doesn't even know what love feels like

Finally started watching Gotham for the first time and man o man The Penguin was surprisingly and brilliantly portrayed by Robin. To the point where i started to be concerned #lol on why i am enjoying this character so much. Reading the comments i am no longer concerned. He is playing this role like i've never scene before in a character.

Hey hey hey Does Robin Lord Taylor Know I would Die for Him?
Ill check out this show some day. I just wanted to see Robin being interviewed. I love him Dishonred 2 and wish I could see him talk about that role in-depth but I can't find anything where he talks about voicing The Outsider. He was fantastic in the role and he gave the character human character traits. If anyone want to see him a VG please give that game a go. Robin was really fantastic.
It's the end of the series and Oswald's still lovable in a way, so MISSION FAILED MISTER. But seriously, he's my favorite character and I'm so sad that they didn't get to do more of this. Ugh

From a french perspective, that guy could be some kind of 'Louis De Funès' style actor ...I think that is the kind of actor that could easily perform good comedy movies and become a real star ! That guy has something special, if some movie maker recognizes that, it could be a revelation

Penguin is a character you really don't want to die. But you just know every villain dies eventually and i Don't want that moment to come. If he really needs to leave the show... just let him move to another city so he can be happy there. They wait like... a Season or 11 episodes and they get him back because he's like the only king of Gotham who made it a lot safer. Idk but people are always hating on him.
