    You can get money out of a ceramic bank by sliding a butter knife in the slot, turning the bank upside down and sliding the coins. They come up against the knife blade, flip sideways and fall out the slot. I've done it for years and it works fine.

      You can even tightly wrap cloth around the butter knife if you're worried about chipping the edges. Kids in the 70s had skills 🤣

    Sherbet is correct...there's also sorbet...different concoctions but in the same family. I think sorbet has no dairy, but sherbet might have a little.

      I paid attention when I went grocery shopping the other day. It does say sherbet lol. I’ve always said sherbert. Always learn something new. I don’t care how anyone says it, just thought that was interesting. Who knew!!

    The way you say it is how we say it. There is sorbert (Sore-bay) which is different. Both are made with fruit juice and sugar. Sherbert is also made with fruit juice and sugar, but also contains milk or cream.

    Is it me or have prices gone up on pieces astronomically in the past 5 yrs.? I was reselling from 2016 - 19. and reselling was a new kind of way to make money. Has reselling and being the middle man between cheap and retail is whats driven the prices up so high? Some things aren't worth the prices they go for to me..

    🌺. Rug Hooking is coming back with a vengeance!! Almost everyone I know re taking classes. So I noticed you are seeing much more of it in all the Antique Shops. So be careful what you purchase if you want old Vintage authentic. Look the rug over really good because most likely it’s been made in the past 5 years or earlier.
    You should be resting Girl!!! And your still running around, shopping for resale, workin eBay, & CZcams, “Bein a Momma “ & working on 2 homes & running your booths. “I think a BREAK IS WELL DESERVED FOR YOU JOSLYN”

If you can't sell them, I think you can donate them to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah KY (unless they have changed their policies). They have auctions and quilters who like to repair them, buy them. I have donated some of my grandma's quilts. The others I can't seem to part with yet.

    In case it hasn't been mentioned, the onion bottle (with the concave bottom) at 8:50 is worth $50-ish, if antique. They were used mostly for wine and oils.

    When you picked up the teapot and said “I think she’s German”. When you turned her around and I saw her backside I knew she was German 😂😂😂. My German Great Grandma and Grandma passed that trait on down the line.

    You are right. Sherbet or Sherbert, either spelling is correct and both end in the "bet" sound. Sorbet ends in the "bay" sound.

      The quality was so nice it was a reproduction she mentioned. I watch people mudlark on the Thames in UK. They find onion bottles from time to time. It's more primitive glass. I did love the bottle though.
