@@themane8980 The original point was to not to sell all gold before the end of ch6, leave some. That has changed from the time of this video. The point was that you lose all your money at one point, but get to keep your inventory items. If you had some gold bars in your satchel at that point, you could then sell them. Some money to continue again. You get a lot of money sometime later again, so you didn't need many gold bars at that point, maybe 2 or 3. Freely located (not treasure map related) gold bars will also respawn after ch6 (some have reported freely located gold to respawn every chapter, however I can not confirm this). To my knowledge the treasure map gold will not respawn. Developers have changed the fact that you could receive your gold from your inventory after chapter 6. Now I recommend that you sell all the gold you have, and use the Aberdeen Pig Farm method (N-W-N from St. Denis, some 2/3 way to Emerald Station) to transfer your money at the end of chapter 6, before the last train robbery. When you get to the farm, accept their hospitality, eat and drink, and get mugged, losing all your money. You can then finish chapter 6, and return to collect your money after chapter 6 is over (found behind the painting of a woman at the pig farm). I found all of these in my second playthrough and did all the camp upgrades and dontated 6,000 dollars to the camp but according to Dutch “WE NEED MORE MONEY”

You can sell all the gold if you like, because Arthur can transfer his money to John very easily.Make sure you DO NOT do the "Aberdeen Pig Farm" until near the end of chapter 6 when Arthur has everything & no longer needs any money.Then you simply goto the pig farm & accept the invitation for dinner, then drink until they rob you.When you wake up in the cemetary, simply leave & finish chapter 6.Once Arthur is dead, go back to the Aberdeen Pig Farm as John Marston as soon as you can in the epilogue, & All of Arthur's money is behind the picture in the now abandoned house.

I cant even imagine how much gold is still hiding out there.. sitting in spots so subtle and random they may never be found. This Game holds many many secrets, its very cool. That's what an 8 yr development process gets us. :)
There's literally loads of gold hidden in the mountains etc, all the bank Robbers etc throughout history, there's got to be something buried out there just waiting to be found

U forgot to add something It’s not a glitch like other vids because when those glitch vids show up on my recommend it’s always like two months late which means that they already patched it because when I see the vid I get excited and then I see the comments and it says it’s patched
After beating the game, if you collected all 16 gold bars as Arthur, when you play as John, these 16 gold bars spawn again, meaning you could get 32 gold bars total, which is 16k Edit: thx for 144 like btw :3
There are more locations. One such is: Reed Cottage (North of Annesburg) You’ll get a map for a gold ingot to Elysian Pool It’s under a rock to the north-west of the lake.

I remember Grimshaw complained about my seeming lack of donations to the camp. I immediately checked the leger and it showed all the upgrades I bought while under her name lists only one donation as a single literal bird feather.
It always responds in that snowy part of that mountain side so if you're in need of one other one just go there he'll look it up you can find exact location on the internet
I know this is late. I just bought RDR2 on sale from the PS4 store. On the train wreck gold the other youtubers say you have to circle around to the top and jump down. That shortcut of jumping through that little notch in the cliff worked like a charm. I appreciate the no narrative. Just easy to understand video with minimal commentary. Thank you for the help.

Twitch Flaze you’ve probably already seen this but you can get them all as Arthur and John. Also if you get all the gold bars as Arthur, and sell them. If you haven’t done it before, but when they take your money let them have it kill them. Though keep your money in their safe. Once your John you can collect the money, and get 16k worth of gold if you collect them right after.
How the hell did you find some of these gold bar spots?! The tiny cave near the mysterious house. I'd never find that in a million years! haha. Who the hell goes around looking for cracks to walk into?!
I tend to go around looking for cracks to walk into, but that location I found via the interwebs. I always study my video topics carefully online to make sure I'm not missing anything relevant, and in this case, also to make sure I have all the gold bars in the video 👍🏻
@@glenntierney9578 Does anyone buy those books anymore? I mean, they are written before the release and they don't obviously count for updates and patches. They are very inaccurate in many cases, and will only get more so by every patch.

The gold nugget at the burnt out wagon in the burnt field north of Limpany keeps respawning too! Outside the lockbox. How awesome! I'm starting to get the feeling this happens to a lot of gold and treasure. 🤔😄
Also if you blow a safe up on a train and get the loot. Leave the train go back in and it respawns. The safe door doesn't come off the second time but you get exactly the same loot.

I only found one of these locations early on in my first playthrough, and now I've beaten the game and have a lot of money.... BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO GET MO MONEH!!!!
I tried postponing it as long as possible on my second playthrough but at one point during Chapter 2 Strauss forces you to go there. The mission just starts in camp and you cannot interact with anything anymore until you go there.

There are 6 gold bars with a preorder bonus (exclusive treasure), one gold bar that wasn't found yet (or something like that) when I made this video, one new treasure exclusive to the PC version with couple of gold bars.

EDIT: I have been setting up a new profile/game for my brother and wanted to get him as much money to start off with as possible without killing anyone so whenever he played, he can just play and do whatever he desired. This has played a key role in making that happen. So, thank you so much for this.
To find the high stakes treasure map guy just go all around the red zone highlighted in the video. Keep going all around and random events will keep happening and eventually the guy should spawn. Hope this helped anyone who is still looking for these.
Throughout your play through, If you repeatedly visit the sheriff's office in Limpany and the train wreck near Cotorra Springs you may find the gold bars have respawned from time to time. Same goes for cash stash, jewellery bags and gold nuggets. Doesn't work for treasure map quests and this is not a hack. It just happens and was never patched.
Do sell your gold bars before chapter 6. You will get about 20k as John in the epilogue, and you'll have enough money then. Sell the gold bars as Arthur, get good horses, good camp upgrades, weapons, and outfits as Arthur because that will help you in the story. The epilogues and after dont matter AS much.
Omg that one in that cave with the statues. I have ridden by that so many times. Never got off the horse to look around but always had this feeling something was hidden there. Thanks for sharing I never even paid any attention to the “window” rock.
A couple things. 1 let some time pass 2 save, turn off system, restart.(some say this is key) 3 close all loot boxes after looting.(some swear by this as well) 4 The loot often respawns right behind the boxes, sometimes in. You'll find that the boxes you have to pull out from under something will sometimes respawn the loot behind the box. I hope this helps you. 💯👍

Pro tip : Keep half the gold bars you’ll need it. If you want to know why read below SPOILER ALERT 🚨 In the ending Arthur dies of tuberculosis and injuries and you play as John, John only has 6 dollars and you get 21k after the ending of epilogue.

The Jack Hall Gang treasure got my Arabian killed. As I got on it, it had a mind of it's own and decided to run off the cliff.
It always responds in that snowy part of that mountain side so if you're in need of one other one just go there he'll look it up you can find exact location on the internet

I know this is late. I just bought RDR2 on sale from the PS4 store. On the train wreck gold the other youtubers say you have to circle around to the top and jump down. That shortcut of jumping through that little notch in the cliff worked like a charm. I appreciate the no narrative. Just easy to understand video with minimal commentary. Thank you for the help.

I found the gold bar at Braithwaite Manor as Arthur and when I returned as John another gold bar spawned in the same loot box.

Twitch Flaze you’ve probably already seen this but you can get them all as Arthur and John. Also if you get all the gold bars as Arthur, and sell them. If you haven’t done it before, but when they take your money let them have it kill them. Though keep your money in their safe. Once your John you can collect the money, and get 16k worth of gold if you collect them right after.

I tend to go around looking for cracks to walk into, but that location I found via the interwebs. I always study my video topics carefully online to make sure I'm not missing anything relevant, and in this case, also to make sure I have all the gold bars in the video 👍🏻

Does anyone buy those books anymore? I mean, they are written before the release and they don't obviously count for updates and patches. They are very inaccurate in many cases, and will only get more so by every patch.

The gold nugget at the burnt out wagon in the burnt field north of Limpany keeps respawning too! Outside the lockbox. How awesome! I'm starting to get the feeling this happens to a lot of gold and treasure. 🤔😄
Also if you blow a safe up on a train and get the loot. Leave the train go back in and it respawns. The safe door doesn't come off the second time but you get exactly the same loot.

I tried postponing it as long as possible on my second playthrough but at one point during Chapter 2 Strauss forces you to go there. The mission just starts in camp and you cannot interact with anything anymore until you go there.

There are 6 gold bars with a preorder bonus (exclusive treasure), one gold bar that wasn't found yet (or something like that) when I made this video, one new treasure exclusive to the PC version with couple of gold bars.

To find the high stakes treasure map guy just go all around the red zone highlighted in the video. Keep going all around and random events will keep happening and eventually the guy should spawn. Hope this helped anyone who is still looking for these.

Throughout your play through, If you repeatedly visit the sheriff's office in Limpany and the train wreck near Cotorra Springs you may find the gold bars have respawned from time to time. Same goes for cash stash, jewellery bags and gold nuggets. Doesn't work for treasure map quests and this is not a hack. It just happens and was never patched.
Do sell your gold bars before chapter 6. You will get about 20k as John in the epilogue, and you'll have enough money then. Sell the gold bars as Arthur, get good horses, good camp upgrades, weapons, and outfits as Arthur because that will help you in the story. The epilogues and after dont matter AS much.

A couple things. 1 let some time pass 2 save, turn off system, restart.(some say this is key) 3 close all loot boxes after looting.(some swear by this as well) 4 The loot often respawns right behind the boxes, sometimes in. You'll find that the boxes you have to pull out from under something will sometimes respawn the loot behind the box. I hope this helps you. 💯👍
