Great story line. The Prince was very persistent.

The way I see it is, Amy should have just been straight with Ty and told him.. and Ty should have never just walked away.. Lack of communication in their relationship if you ask me. But glad they sort it and get back to get her because i ship them and have since episode one!
Amy "It didn't mean anything, I love you so much." This worked with the Chase kiss, why would it not work with Ty again? Check everything, Amy never admitted anything she did was wrong with kissing Ahmed and a day or two later not being able to kiss Ty. Never asked for forgiveness. No sympathy here.
Finally another person willing to call out Amy for her dishonesty , betrayal and complete disregard for the harm she causes others.

The prince was so use to having everything and nobody saying no. I am so happy that Ty went after him. Amy should have never gone on the tour and she should have made it clear from the beginning that she is in love with Ty and she is engaged and done cross the line.

The way I see it is Amy was not going to tell anyone about the kiss. It wasn't until Georgie found it and showed it to Lou. Amy was going to keep it all to herself and not let anyone know but it back fired and it was to late to tell Ty about it as had been months before it came out. I know Almed was to blame but Amy wasn't innocent, the kiss should have been a red flag that the prince had feelings for her and she did not want to let that go. Amy was wearing her ring when the prince kissed her, I have seen it on her finger in the clip!!!

When the video clip came out and Lou showed it to Amy she said that they gave her a chain neckless and that was it nothing happened. Lou said he kissed you and it was more than a peck on the check, so it seems that Almed kissed Amy and she aloud it to linger a bit. So Amy was to blame as well.

Amy is better with horses than she is with people and I completely get that because I'm not too good with people either. I love her and she is one of my favorite characters, but I think it made sense for Ty and Amy to take a break at the time. But I also think some people are being a little harsh. Yes, it is true that what Amy did was wrong but no matter what Amy loves Ty and there is no doubt about that in my mind. I dont think she takes Ty for granted. I just think she gets caught up in things very easily and gets distracted sometimes. With chase, she was caught up by the fact that he challenged and pushed her and with Ahmed she was caught up in all the glamor. She's not perfect, but she keeps trying. And we can't expect her to be perfect. After all, she's only human. And she has always fixed her mistakes. When things went down with chase, she told Ty about it and then when he came back in a later season, she slapped him and told him to never make a move on her again. And let's not forget that when Ty and Blair kissed back in season 4, he never told Amy about it. Ty should've been honest about things with Blair the same way that Amy should've been honest about things with Ahmed and trusted Ty enough to know he wouldn't walk away if she had told the truth from the beginning. So I guess my point is that they've both made mistakes and I think we should all remember that before we judge Amy too harshly. We cant forget that she does love Ty and he's made his fair share of mistakes too.

I like what you say but Ty did not kiss Blair, Blair kissed Ty . Ty did not seek a kiss from Blair but he did tell her that that can't happen. And yes he should have told Amy about the kiss, but he did not have any more to do with her, not like Amy she just kept going back to chase. I do think Amy had it her mind to make play Chase and Ty against each other to make ty jealous.
Completely agree! And she didnt kiss Ty after Ahmed because she felt like she was less than him or unworthy of him. And Ty has been her boyfriend since she was 15 she never really had a chance to learn to set boundaries or deal with anything that violated her commitment. She never learned how to set boundaries because shes always been with Ty, and she never needed to set boundaries with him.
Neither of them is perfect but they did need a break for sure. And it gave him a chance to remember why he fell for her all those years ago and Amy to recognize her mistake and how thoroughly she missed and loved ty. You have a very mature and respectable opinion. Thank you
Erin, I know this response is late but I thought I would make it anyway.
Your comments do reflect a compassionate view of understanding why Amy did the things she did. I am sure it is exactly what the producers would want everyone to think when they look at Amy, even now in season 14. Unfortunately, that is just not possible for honest viewers after you look at everyting she did to Ty. Her image has forever been damaged by her repeated betrayals and dishonesty toward him.
The reason why this is true is because Amy was never held accountalble for her mistakes within the script. She never acknowleges what she did was wrong , said that she understands the harm she caused to others, or was made to apologize. With that being the case, how can you possibly say that "Amy always fixed her mistakes"? That is just not true.
The proof for all of this comes from these two facts.
1. Ty is the person who always forgave Amy and saved their fairytale romance. Without him, there is no marriage, no Lyndy and Amy is most likely living in an unhappy relationship with someone who couldnt possibly love her like Ty did.
2. Amy proved at least twice that she was "more than fine" without Ty and completely willing to throw him and everything they had together away forever, rather than admit her mistakes. Even if she didnt feel she was completely at fault she should have done something to save their relationship. She did nothing.
These facts clearly demonstrate that Amys self-righteous and unforgiving personality was stronger than her love for Ty. That is so sad and it continues to hurt this show even now.

The only fact you gave was that Ty always forgave Amy, but Amy forgave Ty for plenty of his mistakes too. Also, what you see as Amy throwing away Ty, I see as Amy being a young, naive girl. With chase, it was completely understandable that Amy would be confused. Teenage girls struggle to figure out their emotions all the time. And with Ahmed, she tried to set boundaries with him, but she was so caught up in her career that she failed to do so. That doesn't mean she wanted to throw Ty away and I'm sorry you see it that way. Also, she did admit her mistakes to Ty. She said that she let the glamor of her new career change her. She admitted to him that she did something wrong, and then she fixed her mistake by proving to him that she was still her and that she still wanted a life with him.

Good question! I'm not sure it really could be either... I think maybe Ty because he felt like he was betrayed by someone who his entire world has evolved around and theres nothing that they can say to make it better. Letting her know he still loves her but needs a break. "You're the one I love and I'm saying good bye"

When Amy comes down the stairs at the European Party and Ahmed greets her you can see it in her face how much she loves his constant attention and praise.. It clearly was not just a professional relationship between them. Add in the glamorous lifestyle, the travel, and the rich rewards he gives her (gifts and high salary); we can all see that Amy just did not want to give that up. She felt that way even after she returned to Heartland.
I now see Amys betrayl with Ahmed as even worse than before.
Amy basically had an emotional affair with Ahmed while on the European Tour where she basically traveled alone with him for over 4 months . During that whole time, despite her promises to do otherwise, she rarely called Ty and likely even avoided "returning" his calls. That fact alone just astounds me for how disrespectful that was to Ty.
Further, as an engaged women she then very intentionally lets Ahmed kiss her. She did this right after he gave her a very expensive piece of jewelry which Lou said looked like "he had just proposed to her" or that "he had just propositioned her for sex". Either way in the video it appears as if Amy said "yes" because she very obviously saw that kiss coming and did not object or turn away. Compare that to how she refused to kiss Ty 3 straight times in the loft when she first came home. That tells you a lot aboiut her mindset. At a minimum, Amy accepted Ahmeds kiss. She may have even, kind of, returned the kiss as some kind of "thank you" for all he had done for her. That alone was enough to make Ahmed think that she would continue to be open to his advances no matter what she told him after the kiss.
Then when she gets back to Heartland and Georgi tells Ty that Ahmed had told Amy that he loved her, Amy swears to Ty that "nothing happened" (no sex). Still, can you imagine what ran through his mind? First he would think "so this is why Amy rarely called me when she was gone". 'I cant believe she would lie to me like this". Finally, he would realize that whatever did happen , Amy never intended to tell him about any of it. Despite all of her dishonesty being exposed, Amy feels absolutely no shame or remorse for not telling him. If anything she accusses him of over reacting to what has happened.
Later the next day, Amy is caught lying to Ty again when Georgi tells Ty about the video showing her and Ahmed kissing.. At that point, why would Ty believe anything Amy would say? If the roles were reversed, Amy would have gone balistic.
During the barn scene when Amy said that she was "so, so sorry about the other night" she was apologizing more for Ahmeds behavior and how Ty had been completely humilitated in front of the whole family rather than for anything she had done. That is truely incredible !.
Amy's image was forever stained by this event. She is now viewed not much differently than Lou or Tim. How can a show survive with its star being viewed that negatively? The only reason it will survive is because the young woman viewers dont pay very close attention to the details of Amys behavior. They will forgive her for almost anything. As long as Amber and the other producers show Amy as a victim, as always winning, and being the object of every mans affections; those viewers will continue to watch the show. How shallow and disappointing is that? Is that really the image of a Strong, Independent and Modern woman that this show wants to portray?
