Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Odd, you don't have just 4 missiles, your missiles go on a cooldown after you fired the 4
In all seriousness, mercenaries are a little overpowered, 20 bucks and 1 supply for three people with guns is insane, especially with the infantry upgrades. You can conquer the entire first island with mercenaries alone. I know because I did.
"Bold move cotton, we'll see how it pays off", lol. Loved the reference.
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge anything.

When I saw how the attack dogs insta kill infantry my first thought was "Well I guess these devs really liked red alert." And then Tanya turns up as the first hero to confirm my suspicions. :D
That was the shit dude, I remember playing Red Alert 2 on PS1 *years* ago

Thanks for playing this! I just picked it up myself. Reverse tower defense games are so rare, and Warpips is so satisfying watching the mayhem unfold.

Everyone I've watched loves to put many units in the field. My mercs have been handling everything but tanks solo .. lol. They are ridiculously overpowered. Mines? just sacrifice mercs. Snipers? Overwhelming amount of people, can't kill them all. Shotgunners? Sure, kill one, I still have like.. 20 more coming at you. Fixed guns/ towers? No problem. Throw bodies at it. Now with this 1.0.0.1 update you get those warbucks things faster so upgrades are even easier to get so increased health + more starting pips at the start and you're laughing!
I love watching Odd's videos. He makes it fun, wins often, and allows for a LOT of backseat gaming. Drones drones drones!
Is it only me, or the pips kinda remind the guards that guard the border in Papers, Please?
Some of the audio chatter definitely sounds like Papers, Please.
Don't know if you've already played the final mission on the island but try dogs for Tanya - they can one shot her

Episode 1 I had C&C/ Red alert vibes. That Tatiana pretty much sealed it for me as a strong influence.
I feel like if you used the turrets earlier it would allow you to play defensive better till you had enough bucks for a larger force.
A bogey is an unidentified radar or visual contact.
It's unfortunate that the game doesn't explain salvos all that well. Lots of consumables have reload times after you shoot them all, but it doesn't communicate that right on the screen when playing.
This game kicks butt, mind you, just nitpicking.
Instead of Zergling rush, I think you mean Soviet style.
Hey Chris, this is awesome and you've really got it down for this only being the second video!
I'd like to suggest relying a little more on turrets when you're on the backfoot, it seems like it would go well with those money-generating buildings you can put down. You know, just try it on for size, see how you like it, if you haven't already done so in an unreleased video.
The dogs seem to be a waste since most of the time they never make it back after maybe killing ONE enemy. The missiles were better. They took out groups dvery time and were cheap. Maybe save those for those enemy heroes units.
The shields really work. Put a couple heavy guys with them and youre going to be tough.
The turrets may be nice early when you get a lot of pressure but then you adance they get left behind.
I didnt really notice how mean those towers were till today.

Im probably missing something obvious, but you mentioned avoiding using your missile, does the card gets refund if you odnt use it? or can you just use it once per battle?

As far as i know, you can upgrade passive income with that little arrow next to the trade medal for money button ...
Unfortunately, that only upgrades the amount of money you get from pressing the money button. It's only really good for extended fights since it helps with efficiency.
