Omg yesssss I could literally have three a day and I would be so happy! I've been trying to figure out a dupe at home and nothing compares. You are far more gifted with cooking/baking though so if you ever figure something out that's similar, "spill the tea" (haha, get it? 😉)

You could add M labels to the minecraft books. Just so you can file them away. And also make them easy to find.

How do you separate your own books from the schools’? Do you still put labels on all of the books regardless ?
Do you let students check books out or are they for in-class use only? I'm trying to get ideas for my classroom!!
Hi Kim! I know you and your kids do the 40 book challenge and you focus on genre. I was wondering with the new library system if you also have labels for the genre or if you are having your kiddos try and assign a genre to the books because they are upper elementary
Hi, Emma!! I have the kids figure out the genre and they do a really good job with this. I have them ask me if they need help, though! 😊

Hi, I’m a 2nd grade teacher in Ottawa Canada! I just love watching your videos! Quick question for you... I saw a timer on a slide you showed while your kids were on a break. Where did you get it from? I love the idea of integrating it to the slide... Anyway, keep up the good work 😊
Hi, Michelle! Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment! I just look up the timers on CZcams (I search “____ minute timer”) and then I insert them into the slide! It works great!!
How do you keep inventory of what books you have in your library? And is there a way for your students to search your database to find a book on a specific topic or genre? And do they have a check in/check out policy so you know who has a book if it's missing or another student is looking for it?
I wish I had a better answer for this! I've tried a bunch of different things but honestly I haven't found any great solutions. I just started using the app Book Retriever and it's okay but not great.
