LOL, the first time I watched this video, I didn't have a clue who David Schwimmer was, watched it because of Simon Pegg. It's amazing how, now that I've watched the first two seasons of "Friends", it's suddenly gotten even more interesting than it already was...
(Late Reply, I know...) You know, normally such an observance would be cause for sensitization, but upon hearing the woman's laugh and piecing it together with your description, I found it really funny.
Don't know why the audience seemed so morose in this, I was laughing throughout, I think Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer are both fantastic and extremely funny
The comment that started this whole discussion was DJTommy812 quoting Jonathan saying "Bwitish accent". Also, to someone who have never consumed British media, saying "british accent" is a reasonable thing to do, for the same reason you say "american accent", not "Texan accent" or "East coast accent". The british languages have a communal gait to them that sound similar to one unaccustomed to hearing them.
@ISISbandLive They seemed more like friends in the interview with just Simon, when they were talking about Jonathan's comics, but this interview just kinda gave off a different vibe to me.
Listen to someone from Aberdeen talk and compare it to someone from Birmingham and tell me that they share the same accent. Accents over here differ so much; even over really small distances (10-15 miles, sometimes maybe less) you can notice quite large differences.
Great clip of Simon & David, but I really can't say I like Jonathan... He just seems rather blunt and rude to his guests - he was quite harsh at times to Simon & really seemed to make David feel uncomfortable... But I love those two anyway :) Is it just me or did Jeremy Clarkson look insanely bored when they showed him clapping near the end? LOL Thanks for uploading :D
