Lego's $10 sets are often their best work. Most of them do tend to go on sale at some point, making them excellent value propositions for kids.
I think hard plastic wheels can be good for play.
lets you 'drift' the car around on a tabletop easier than if they were rubber.
useful for a simple car that otherwise has no steering mechanism.
I'd love to see some of these new wheels used on lunar vehicles in thew future. This is more accurate and practical than "inflatable" style tires would be.

If I didn't already own these ninja figures from previous sets, this set is perfect value to get kai alongside a decent build. Wheels not having rubber is not ideal, but at least they look good and hard plastic lasts longer than rubber anyway. Personally, I actually like my collectible toys to look a bit whimsical and this design has a good balance of cool and whimsical. I really hope to see more $10 sets going forward.
I agree. I don't like the tires. I modded mine to use the tires from 31127 Street Racer 3 in 1. Also added some beefy exhaust pipes from out the engine.

The shape
Definitely not as good at Jay's jet, but still decent at least for the price. The wheels are definitely the biggest detractor, it also would have been nice to see some printed pieces as opposed to stickers like they did with the Jet, but there's still some really nice details on display here.
I think it is a good small set for the price, but the cheap feel and look of the wheels just kinda kills it for me
Building wise it seems very barebone even for $10 but I guess the size saves it at the end.

Are all the decoration stickers or theres a print . I think it is a great deal . Would be better to have a second minifig .

Does anyone which version of Kai is this based on?
The only thing I don't like about this one is the wheels. Other than that, it looks pretty cool
My 1 question is why doesn't it come with a Sholder Pad/Sabberd Armor Pice(41162) a Legacy/Core Ninja Minifigure can fit inside with it on
Odd that the EVO modification flips the wheels.

Imo plastic wheels were never good and it brings this set down a little further. Other things I don’t like but that’s my biggest gripe
seemed better as ironman car
