Can't but feel like it's a bit of a downgrade compared to the 1st edition. They also took out some of the nazi symbols I noticed. The minis look the same. Besides the upgraded rulebook I don't see the need for someone to buy the new version if you have the old version already.

Should be called "Reduced Version". If you can find the original version, purchase that. I prefer the plastic coins opposed to card board. Nazi related stuff need to have the Swastika symbol for tokens and cards.
I got my copy in the mail yesterday and am really looking forward to playing it!

A bit disappointed they couldn't come up woth a more realistic map for this edition. It looks like someone drew a map of the world from memory..

Likely a necessary cost cutting measure
Also likely to bring the weight down. I remember the original was surpsingly heavy.
