    This drummer is Dmitry Kim. He was their 4th drummer. Vlad is their 5th. He filled in on drums for them during the recording of King of Everything and some of the touring afterwards, before they hired Vlad. Their drummer before that, Eugene Mantulin, fell out a third floor window and was paralyzed. Dmitry filled in for them until they could find a replacement, but didn't want to stay in the band due to their rigorous touring schedule.

      @nutrybe Před měsícem +12

      You are correct from what I understand but Dmitry did stay on with Jinjer though in a sound engineer type role which is so cool. He is a very talented drummer in his own right. Jinjer is still on good terms with most, if not all of their former members which shouldn't be a big deal but it seems to me like most other bands aren't like that. Their original singer hangs with them a lot and is dating their merch person, Eugene Mantulin was up on stage with them after one of their concerts last year, their original guitarist Dimitry Oksen was cast in their Disclosure music video. They all seem very down to earth, grounded and good people.

      @@nutrybegood info. Yes Jinjer still maintains a relationship with original singer Max Fatullaev. As a matter of fact I was sitting close to Max during an intimate interview in Los Angeles at the Grammy Museum with Jinjer. Search CZcams for Jinjer Grammy Museum Los Angeles and you will be able to watch the entire interview that’s really cool and hear them talk about their early days.

      @nutrybe yeah, Maks Fatulleav (former singer) is in Evermorphing now. I just saw them open for Jinjer in Milwaukee in April. Maks was working with Jane at the merch booth after the show. I got to have a conversation with him. Super cool dude.

    This video was produced by the band when they were an unsigned band. Upon it' release it attracted so many views in a 48 hour period that Napalm records took noticed and signed them. Dmitry Kim was the drummer with the understanding that it would only be temporary but he remains with the band as a video editor on the Live in LA DVD and the Audiotree from Nothing video.

    I know others have mentioned it, the drummer in this video is Dmitry Kim, he was a "fill in" drummer for their King of Everything album. So you saw him in I Speak Astronomy, and of course this song Sit, Stay, Rollover. You will also see him if you react to the OMV for their songs Words of Wisdom and Just Amother. Dmitry is a machine and a fantastic drummer, but he couldn't commit to Jinjers' insane touring schedule so he agreed ro be a fill in until they coukd find a replacement which ended up being Vlad in 2016. Ironically enough, the Pisces video was meant to showcase Vlad as their new drummer, he changed some of the drum parts to trhe song and the band liked it so much they re-recorded Pisces in that live session video. That video ended up going "viral" and became a staple for reactors to react to on CZcams , it also introduced Jinjer to a wider audience even though they were already around for about 7 years, mostly known in Eastern Europe. The original recording of Pisces is on rhe King of Everything album and the drummer is of course Dmitry Kim. Jinjer has a long history of drummers, but Vlad has been their drummer the longest and has been with Jinjer like I said since 2016. Anyhow, great reaction young lady, there is still so much more Jinjer to react too, looking forward to those, and as always, stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

      Kim was not a "fill in" drummer for that album, he joined Jinjer in 2014 right after Mantulin's accident (it happened in September and you can already see Kim on the drums in the Outlander video, which took place in November of the same year). Kim was very much involved in the composition of King of Everything, along with the rest of the band.

    That's one of the previous drummers I think his name was Dmitryi Kim. I think he left because he had an issue with touring outside of Eastern Europe. He was the last drummer before Vlad. You can see some of the older members in the "Scissors" and "Outlander" videos. The rythm guitarist in those videos is Dmitryi Oksen. He left the band to pursue a carrer in acting. He appears in the video "Disclosure" where he plays a police interegator. All of those are good videos. MORE JINJER!!! ❤🤍💙

    So my favorite song from them is "as i boil ice" which I highly recommend! Also the song directly after it "mediator" ties directly in with it, so i would recommend reacting to those 2 back to back (even if on separate videos) when you do them (whenever that may be). Also my wife's favorite song from them is "wallflower" it is up there on my list as well. It is a slower song from them but is describing Tatiana's feelings at the moment when writing and also talks about her being an introvert. It is a great song in every way, lyrically and musically. Love your reactions! I wish you a happy 4k subscribers soon and hopefully that 10k subscriber goal you've set very soon as well! Keep up the hard work

      @@danielbeck9310i heard she hacked off the dreads in some kind of panic attack--just before they did the Pisces video. Took her a while to grow it out after that. I wonder if the drummer situation had anything to do with that. Our Tati is a sensitive girl.

      @danielbeck9310 Před měsícem +2

      @ericpeterson7512 yeah, I remember hearing that too, but it was a little while before the Pisces video. She had short hair in the videos for I Speak Astronomy, Just Another, and Words of Wisdom, which were all released before the Pisces live session video. She was rocking the Dora the Explorer hairdo by then, which was a little longer. Not sure if her breakdown had something to do with their drummer, or not, but it's possible.

    Thank you!!
    This song is a passionate denunciation of fascism, rooted in their experience of political events in & affecting Ukraine around the time of the Euromaidan in early 2014. (The Ukrainian extreme right were deeply involved in the Euromaidan, and made a very bad impression on Eugene & Tatiana, who I believe co-wrote the lyrics (others in the band would largely agree with them, no doubt).) "One path, one past, one trust" refers to the fascist penchant for weaving a mythologized past & mythic destiny into a grand political narrative defining "us" & "them" & demanding absolute allegiance from all who wish to belong. Eugene & Tatiana's response is to *roar* "It's not *my* path, it's not *my* past, it's not *my* trust", in other words, f### your grand political narrative. It's powerfully defiant stuff that I absolutely *love.*
    Peace. ☮

      That's the true spirit of rock music. Initially rock music was inspired by protest - political, social or whatever. And if it's true it's not a safe protest against some problems somewhere else. It should be the protest against someone who can come and kick your asses (or worse).
      And that's what it is.
      They still have problems with those who are the heroes of this song.
