    You can't compare the Panasonic GH7's frame rates and pricing to the Z6III, as the former is M4/3, the latter is full frame.

      One can always compare...

      Why wouldn't you be able to?

    • @SooksVI
      @SooksVI Před 2 měsíci

      @@Healthy_Toki with all being equal, the main differences between a full frame camera like the Z6 and a MFT camera like the GH7 would be power consumption and thermal requirements. The Z6 with its larger sensor would have larger pixels that consume more power. Anything that consumes more power generates more heat. So, if Nikon doesn't have a good thermal design, it can handicap the camera. I don't think MFT cameras usually have issues with heat and can usually record for long periods. Essentially there isn't a real reason you couldn't compare the two.

    Hi Simon, looks like Nikon intends to beat the R6ii by giving it a CFxB and half a mega pickle extra ;-)
    If I someday upgrade my camera it needs to have a stacked sensor of minimum 45mp when FF or 32mp when APS-C ..

    On the video side, will the Nikon Z6III shoot 10-bit 4:2:2 internally? What about intraframe codecs? And with their recent purchase of RED, will they finally have internal RAW video recording capability?

    I think it will be a solid step above the last version and since it’s a mid tear camera we can’t expect it to blow anyone away like a flagship . Will be interesting to see if the rumours missed a few surprises .

    The new Fujifilm X-T50 has build in AI autofocusing detection and 7-stops of IBIS. The camera itself is a bit of artwork too. The new 16-50mm f2.8-4.8 R lens brings the price up to $1,799, but the lens has internal zooming, meaning it doesn’t extent out as you zoom. FujiRumors says the image quality seems to be in par with much more expensive prime lenses.

    All I know is Sony better make their next two announcements be the Sony a7sIV or Sony a7V with improved specs because the other camera companies are giving more bang for the buck nowadays. They need to bring back that Sony a7iii magic to the masses to get that WOW factor again.

    This is disappointing. I would have thought by this time that some RED technology would have rolled into Nikon bodies.

    • @giovannispinosa182
      @giovannispinosa182 Před 2 měsíci

      What technology exactly? If you think sensors, you'll have to wait several years in the very least for Nikon to get Red's sensors. Whoever makes the sensors for Red, (a niche manufacturer, no doubt), has to agree to supply them for Nikon, (not a foregone conclusion), and they have to scale up design and production levels to supply a major manufacturer such as a Nikon. These are two big "ifs" that must be resolved before this were to happen.

    • @bngr_bngr
      @bngr_bngr Před 2 měsíci

      @@giovannispinosa182 RED owns the sensor technology not the manufacture.

    • @giovannispinosa182
      @giovannispinosa182 Před 2 měsíci

      @@bngr_bngr Granted, though that isn't necessarily a given. It all depends on the agreement Red has with its supplier. Does Red simply say, "Hey, we need a sensor with these specs. Now go and work your magic." Or does Red get down into the theoretical weeds with the manufacturer? There might very well be some sort of sharing agreement between the two that may not necessarily transfer. Red's sensor manufacturer has been, heretofore, a closely guarded bit of information. Unless one is privy to the particulars of this arrangement we're left to speculations.

    • @bngr_bngr
      @bngr_bngr Před 2 měsíci

      @@giovannispinosa182 that is true but that doesn’t preclude the new owner of RED to existing contracts, agreements, or technology with other companies. Many companies just buy other companies for their intellectual property rights. Whether their current subcontractors increased production is another question.
