    Great video. The best tactic I have for finding sheds is to get super stoned right after parking the truck. It really gets you zoned in and focused on seeing them.

    I agree with the first thing you said, going way too early is honestly the mistake that most people make. If you start looking hard in January, you're more than likely wasting your time and energy, and then you're gonna be burnt out come March and April when there's actually antlers on the ground.

      Yes, social media doesn't help either when you are itching to go look 😂

    When I can't stand it anymore and have to go out When I know it's really early I stick with feeding areas. I usually circle the fields and use my binoculars to look deeper into the woods. I stay out of the thick security cover until late February or early March usually. By that time I figure 80% has dropped and are in more predictable bedding rather than randomly if I was jumping them up all the time.

      Yeah that's how to do it if you go in early, hit the food where you're most likely to not bump and deer and leave the thick areas alone for later 👍

    What's the best time of year to look for sheds?

    • @YantaOutdoors
      @YantaOutdoors  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Best overall time if you’re on unpicked private land would be mid to late March. That allows for about 95% of deer to drop before you go searching.
