As a son of an old days' Brazilian soccer player and coach I was trained since my first memories and I can say I absolutely HATED it! The most important thing for a father to build in his relationship with his son (children in general) is understanding and trust. Fathers should be aware their sons might not wanna follow their footsteps at all and go in a totally different direction. Does the child enjoy training with his dad? Great! But the father shouldn't be praised for training his young son but for spending quality time with him, however they decide to spend that time.

I see some kids who competitively swim with 6 packs, but as they get into their teens they struggle to maintain it. Heck, you can even see visible abs in malnourished children in impoverished countries just because they have absolutely no fat, although they'd be more visible if they worked out regularly.

As a son of an old days' Brazilian soccer player and coach I was trained since my first memories and I can say I absolutely HATED it! The most important thing for a father to build in his relationship with his son (children in general) is understanding and trust. Fathers should be aware their sons might not wanna follow their footsteps at all and go in a totally different direction.
Does the child enjoy training with his dad? Great! But the father shouldn't be praised for training his young son but for spending quality time with him, however they decide to spend that time.

It's actually quite attainable if you're a kid, its easy to have a low body fat and do some amount of core workouts. I see some kids who competitively swim with 6 packs, but as they get into their teens they struggle to maintain it. Heck, you can even see visible abs in malnourished children in impoverished countries just because they have absolutely no fat, although they'd be more visible if they worked out regularly.
