A lot of people don’t know you can start your locs with braids! Yep, it’s not that much different than two strands. Starter braids also have the added benefit of being more secure from unraveling 🙌🏾
The down side to them is that they take more time to mature, but if you’re patient that shouldn’t be a problem 🤞🏾

I haven’t seen many visual journey vids of folks with locs who started them with braids! Interesting! Lost the pattern and everything. They formed beautifully! This is really cool! I love their locs!! 🤎🤎✨👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Braids and 2 strand twists are how a lot of people START their loc journey. Not many start from palm rolling anymore.
