They always publish the photo on their own account, too. The exception this time was that they didn't give it media embargo 1 day before and thus it was not straight in the morning in papers etc.
The family is going through an exceptional time, so very much possible that this exception was somehow due to that.

There hadn't been any reason to be worried. It doesn't matter if it was originally published only on family's account, since as you see it is already all over the media and for sure very carefully checked for any editing.
I would say that it is sick to say that the family should not publish their private, unofficial photos on their social media accounts.
