Quick, simple and easy way to remove hard to get to bearing racers like this one on the inside of a rear axle use a welder and R1

Can you explain the logic of the shrinking outer race ???

Before I knew about this, I spent hours trying to remove damage or worn bearing from inside of shafts, as is it very tight. By shrinking the outer race, the clearance becomes bigger, making it easier to remove the old worn or damaged bearing. 5 minutes work vs. hours.
