The defense under Quinn was many times undisciplined won’t happen under Zim
Can't wait to see Mike Zimmer's defense! Players will be accountable. He is going to be on the sideline coaching and if they mess up. He will let them know. GO COWBOYS!
It's not going to be any different. The run defense will still be a problem, and Parsons will still be a pouty little bitch on the sidelines.

One thing that I think of as a former coach is the players pure talent does typically win against inferior opponents but against the teams at or above your level that was when the strategy/scheme of the team over the pure talent was what made the difference. And it seems that could apply here. We always seem to beat the bad teams by 10+ but aren't on the same level as San Fran and others. Maybe we need more scheme against those teams instead of just hoping Micah beats Trent Williams or Diggs jumps a route at the right time is a better approach. Not saying it is a perfect solution, but shit we have to try something different.
This is a more balanced approach and with the right schemes on both sides of the ball I think Dallas can shock a lot of people

Zim has a good track record against Shanahan guys I believe I read somewhere and the offense plays good complimentary football I can see them sneaking into the nfc title game but they have to show me they can do it at that level to really believe but I wouldn’t be as shocked as a lot of people might be that’s for sure
Machota takes Isiah to school every time, you do what your coaches tell you to do. You play the defense the way they want you to play it. It's just that simple, Isiah sounds crazy at times.
Isaiah is totally taking out the adjustment part of coaching! A coach can and will make adjustments depending on what’s going on.

Before Landry/Stautner called timeout on Defense at the 8:25 mark, Riggins was running wild. Perhaps the players were being themselves too much. From that point on Riggins was contained and Dallas went on to win handily. They had to play the scheme correctly in order for it to work.

When a player turns into a robot, there are less chances for the player to be productive, & show their skill, the play suffers & the team suffers, this is the old school way of teaching, Do as I say Do, because I am the boss.
