IDK why, but I really like this song. My favorite song in VVVVVV is either this one or pressure cooker.

The opening build on this piece is SO DANG GOOD, y'all.
I had the program back in the days, and lurked the community, listened to the compos, etc etc. Had friends that were active in the community as well.
During intermission 1, I felt a sympathetic connection with Victoria. This song played a big part in that (The dialog did the other half of the work).

This song makes struggling through the Dust World (what I like to call the Polar Dimension/Intermission level thanks to raocow) completely worth it :D (I'm currently stuck in Intermission one, on the "Must I Do Everything For You?" room)

By the way, very well done with this soundtrack. It's catchy, atmospheric and totally appropriate for the game.
@Jader7777 This song is made up entirely of two samples: A kick drum and a sine wave loop. I assume you're referring to the kick, which I fiddled with a bit and repeated in various ways.

@GaseousNobility I was stuck for so long on that one and "Do as I say not as I do". I think the death count for that room alone was like 157. Most deaths in the game happend in that room.

Probably not. MadTracker 2 is an old music producing program, a sequencebased tracker. SoulEye made this tune, or the short version of it, as a tune to configure your sound output to, if I don't remember it wrong.
