The head sculpt should have had a innocent expression which captures his view of life shown from the still at the the end of your video. It should have matched the poster of the film. The intense faced head sculpt would have made a nice secondary one. Thanks for the review.
I totally agree with you. Though it's the best likeness to Gump/ Hanks I've seen so far, especially compared to my older custom version that I have stashed away somewhere, I also wish they opted for a more innocent expression. Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to get an update video with the stuff you added from the older version? Maybe a comparion type of video? All in all great review and loved this.
I would definitely want to do an update video at some point in the future, but my older figure is long packed away in storage in the Philippines, so until I can once again settle down in a new home in the Philippines to unpack all of our belongings, I won't be able to do the video. I didn't even catch the misspelling of "eyes" until you pointed it out. I guess my brain just fixed the word when I read over it. I wonder will they do a Vietnam and Running Gump.
When these foreign 3rd party makers throw English on their boxes, there's typically some kind of misspelling or funny grammar. "Collectibles" was also misspelled on the box and of course replacing "Forrest Gump" with "Inspiring Life & Forrest" is kinda funny too. Thanks for watching!
Great review Marlo. Head sculpt is off tho
Though the head sculpt could be better, it's the best one I've seen so far and a big improvement over the previous custom version I got years ago, so I'm still happy with this version!
Try and open the chocolate box and you’ll be able to fit the three chocolate bars inside it!
I think the box was a solid piece that doesn't open from what I recall, so I don't think I would be able to fit the chocolates in there.
