- This is the studio session for Pop Smoke's version of "GATTI". Although the song started off as a solo Pop Smoke track, it ended up in the "JACKBOYS" album released on the 27th of December back in 2019, featuring one of the biggest names in the modern day Rap scene, Travis Scott, who is also the CEO of the "CACTUS JACK" label, which released the JACKBOYS album.
In this video, you can hear Pop's process of recording songs. Fun is the only word that comes up while listening, you can hear his friends hyping him up, laughing with him, suggesting ideas or even rapping their own lyrics on the beat.
These sessions also feature a 2nd verse by Pop. Listening back, it should be noted that the 2nd take he did, was probably experimental and sounds as if he also knew it would end up with a feature or not entirely a solo song.
Travis's vocals were recorded a different day, in a different studio probably, and have yet to appear on the internet, hence why this video doesnt feature Travis's take on the song.
Today, even though the video is probably going to be posted a later date, is Pop Smoke's birthday. Today he would have been 24 years old, so let's all wish him a happy birthday.

Just realised how he does his verses is quite unique. He goes bar for bar with himself because he can’t do full verses without running out of breath.
