I miss when CG5 would make songs not attached to any property. Something of his own. If I'm remembering correctly, the last time he did something like this was the Patiently Album. I'm glad we're getting something like this again

i hate that feeling of boxing up feelings bc you don't think they're right. you got these lyrics just right, man, good job.
That was actually the metaphor of going into every new box, getting smaller and smaller as I went through, symbolizing getting deeper into my anxiety because of the relationship I was in. And then when I say it’s over, I walk back through all of the boxes, so they get bigger, because I don’t feel boxed in by my thoughts anymore, and I can feel again, which is good. But that was due to leaving the relationship that brought me to that point. So it just ends with me being sad and alone. Thank you for catching on to that. ❤️
