This was the reason for me to make this video. You just can't find anything that can be so easily understood and followed like in this video. Hope you enjoy part II also.

@@vettef6929 thank you, I just picked up a blue tag trans that came in a pile of parts. Tue 4th gear synchro failed and the bellhousing bolts are missing but otherwise it looks to be in good shape and complete. Your video will be invaluable for reassembling this thing.
I got it very cheap but I can tell already I'll have to put a bit of money into it even just for the dmfew issues I have found already.

@@DrewLSsix That was my intension with this video; to help people get this S6-40 disassembled by themselves. Didn't find anything on CZcams that could help me disassemble the trani, so I made two videos so almost anyone with a few tools can do what I did....

This is just what I was looking for. Have a 4th gear that grinds on my 95 Corvette, but only after warming up. Each step seems doable; what I see as problematic is organization and remembering what came out of where. Looking forward to Part 2.

Thanks Dan. Like I wrote before, couldn't find any videos here on youtube that showed me how to take one apart and no one wanted to touch my ZF even certified ZF repair shops!! Mostly they told me that they needed special tools, so I made a few myself, wasn't that hard.
