    This way the system looks great, but it has a lot of problems
    Mechanic (a friend) who works at a PSA service took off the seal on the cap of the adblue tank, because this creates a vacuum, which makes the pump struggle to suck up that crap and thus breaks down.
    And an additive must be added to adblue to prevent crystallization on the injector

    Mines gone today. Adblue warning and engine management light same day . And its kicking out ammonia snelling fumes out the exhaust

    great ide but not funny when it breaks my car is onley 3 years old i had to change the adblue tank. and a friend blught a citroen 4 years old 55000 km on the Clock i came 200 km then it was time to change the adblue tank so great idea but poor quality

    Six months over warranty period on my 508sw pump for adblue gone dead.Repair 1000eur.I'm not the only one to complain.PSA obviosly didnt make this system works.The thank for adblue doesnt have a valve,so it produces a some kind of vacum in tank,and pump broke down.Awful!

      Had exact same issue on my 308, I just deactivated the system as I can’t afford a new tank for 1200 EUR, a great idea but poor maintenance plan for the system by PSA.

    Fault P20 08 = 1000euro. Adblue tank.

      Same issue, but i think it's a software-related fault cause i solved after several resets of ecu errors... (I didn't want to replace the tank so I used to reset everytime the km-countdown was expiring). Then, one day, while driving, error cleaned itself and it didn't appear anymore

      Burns the soot under high temperature, some amount of ash remains in the dpf.

    I would not say this is the best system by a long shot. The dpf filter should be as close to the engine as possible so that it heats up to max temp so to burn of the ash/soot that it emits. having a dpf filter after the catalytic converter make the water produced go through the dpf which is not a good idea.

      You obviously have no idea how the HDI FAP system works and the use of Eolys in it to reduce the soot burning temp to ~450°C.

    Am I missing something here? Why did VW not use this device to get by American emission controls.instad they used a cheat device.Can anybody explain?

    Piece of shit system, 17,000 miles on a Berlingo, the dealer can't clear an recurring adblue fault and is not interested in finding the problem, just keeps making excuses. May as well scrap the car, never buy another Citroen or Peugeot, garbage.

      I have a citoren berlingo van 30000 miles in rusted catalytic converter last week £1300 now ad blue this week another £1300 fk citoren I will. Never buy another French piece of tin ever fact especially now we are out of Europe frabce can get fucked

    PSA, does not protect the environment by making defective spare parts. It knows , but she earns, by charging consumers, her environmental obligations. These are not good minds. Shame. I just ordered the new C4 C cross, 1.5 blue HDi, but I will cancel it.
