You can create a basement beneath the counters and raise up the regular counter (the one you’re not sizing down) from underneath. Place lights in the basement to make the counters match the lighting above or item colors will be too dark.
Also - this ONLY works with island counters, not standard counters (not island as in Island Living pack - but, each base game counter has an island counter, which can be sized down.
