So much I love about your truck build! Biggest thing I miss about owning a Toyota is having CBI parts, they are great to work with, and I really like their designs.
Looks killer seriously a badass touring machine. The 37s will give you more clearance to make up for the little less flex. Looking forward to the walk around with the AT habitat on board.
I've got 705s on my Taco. I love them most when they're dirty but I am swapping the original center caps for the newer ones with the color stripes. That little bit of color is all the need.
Looking forward to some subject matter experiences on the 37's and the AT camper. I've bee running the Alucab Canopy Camper for three years now but have a project in mind for an AT.
Big Blue is looking sweet! You should have Wes perform some SAS surgery on the Tundra! I'd bet the electronics would light up the dash like a Christmas tree tho.
You could probably do away with the rear sway altogether... Sucks that the links keep snapping. Toyota 🤷 Jeeps and my Bronco don't use them (although with tow pack, I think Ford adds a sway)
Love your channel! Looking back, would you have gone with the PRO trim, or would you still go with a limited and the TRD off road package? I’m getting close to getting one and plan to mirror some of the additions on your rig for overlanding. Thanks again for posting!
Definitely the Limited TRD OR. The Pro is only worth getting if you’re keeping it stock, since the only significant advantage to the Pro is the 1” lift.

This is and isn’t true, with enough preload, while you can theoretically still have the same amount of up travel, the force requires to make it happen is so high that you end up lifting tires before you fully compress the spring
@@shaweehillsworkshop4226 Yeah so you still just sort of limiting travel which seems kinda silly when you can trim and have way more stability and it wont ride like crap.
@@RevereOverlandyeah my bad i realized lol. I’m really considering them to replace my klever rt. And I’m cross shopping between the rt trail and the ridge grappler. So it’s a tough choice lol

Because it looks good, and I think that is something that draws people to the videos that I make for a living. If it wasn’t for CZcams and shows/expos, it would be on 35s.

37s looking really good on the Tundra🔥🔥👍🏾👍🏾
That Tundra is looking great Rob!!! It will be fun to watch you on the trails with those upgrades in 2023!
Thanks!
Love that Voodoo Blue. I had a 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro, same color. It instantly grows on you and the paint just pops! Truck mods are looking great!

37s looks really good! And overall build is dope! Can't wait to build our 3rd gen tundra.
Bro.... This rig is gorgeous. I love everything about it. It's the best thundra I've seen yet bro. I'd love to have one with a 6-8 in left on 37's

It looks fantastic. the stuff CBI is coming up with is incredible. Excited to learn more about the AT.
That's one beautiful looking rig! Welcome to the 37s club.
Thanks!
I just realised I'm subscribed to you and I drove past you on the Long Canyon trail a few days ago. I was in the white Jeep Gladiator.
Nice!
Wow Rob The Tundra is looking stout, can’t wait to see you head to head against Shawn and the Trail Destroyer!
He’d win in everything except towing capacity!
Welcome to the dark side.
Haha was just about to post the same thing.
8:28 He **did** show us what flex really should look like:. A SOLID FRONT AXLE. #seriously.
Nice ! Fellow At Habitat owner here on a Tacoma. Got lucky on mine. Bought mine used for $7k a year and a half ago before the prices went up.
Nice! I managed to place my order right before the first of two price hikes!
The 37s look really good. 🤘🏻
Shout out from Bend . I got 35's and will probably go to 37's. Nice video.
I’ve seriously considered going back to 35s
Nice tars
Looks great, what pressure are you running them at?
Looks beautiful with 37s! Is there a need for regearing to bring the torque back up?
It’s not necessary, thanks to the Tundra’s power.

That’s a negative there ghostrider
I don’t want my truck on his lift for the next 10 months! Lol
@Revere Overland haha, but think about all the hits, guys!

The link broke completely last trip, so it’s gone now. It does just fine without it on the highway.
Hey Revere Overland!, I hope you had a great Valentine's Day? Bought yourself a chocolate donut the size of a 37-in tire!!👍✌️🤣🤣

Warranty voided. I love it.
My LX does not flex like that. Wht a cool suspension

QUESTION NORMALLY HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO WOOL WAX THE UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE ?
More than anything, I appreciate that the Tundra has larger tires than a certain someone's jeep...
Lol!
Curious? Why not go with a full on ALU-CABIN for the truck bed? Seems like you have the perfect RIG for that option???
The Habitat has a lot more space inside for the three of us and allowed me to keep the drawer system in place
Have you tried putting a spacer or lower offset wheel? Sometimes that stops you from rubbing certain components..
The tires already stick out enough, so I’m not keen on any more. I got the alignment done again and it helped!
Lift doesn't add clearence on ifs. Cranking up your preload won't help with rubbing when you actually go offroad.

Why do I hear Backstreet Boys playing in the background in that shop?!?!!
Any good shop plays Backstreet Boys
What a beast!
It's cool. How is your gears with 37s it's might need to re-gearing to something like 5+ ?
The truck has so much torque that it’s not a big deal. If I ever want to make it to 10th gear again I might need to.
how you liking those rt trails? I’m debating on it being my next tire.
They’re pretty good. I summarized the thoughts at the end!

It is what counts 😅👍
Wow!! Nice!!
Does anyone happen to know the part number for the rear bump stops extensions?
Did you have to replace the steering box and linkage too?
Nope
I thought Wes was a Contractor. Does he have a 4WD shop now?

@@shaweehillsworkshop4226 You're a busy guy!
Did you calibrate the speedometer and odometer for the non-stock tire size?
No. I just have to remember to add 12% to what it shows

which one is better wool wax or fluid film?
No clue!
We don’t salt our roads in Oregon. Our vehicles don’t rust out here
My truck was caked in salt by the time I got there!
Have you already regeared?
Nope!
Why?
Because I can!
Wait, wut, you have a lot of explaining to do...AT Overland Cap?
Next video I show some more of it
Remove the sway bar.
It finally broke yesterday, so it’s gone for now!

I would!
amzn.to/3Z7I1JM
You’ll need to regear?
Nah, new Tundras handle 37s really well just due to the sheer amount of torque.
It’s not necessary, thanks to all the torque, but if I want to every see 10th gear again I’ll need to.
Get rid of sway bar...it will never break again🤓
Naw, 37s are just fine bro....
37 is just a bad idea for regular folks. Your making too much compromises
Agreed
Whoo, first!
