She's been through a lot but this was the thing that made me devastated for her... The amount of stress she was under watching her husband get shot & just the whole thing, I felt really really bad for her & her baby

Owen's face kills me when she says she's having a miscarriage.
Owen knew before Meredith said anything. If you watch, he is watching her with the same look in both shots.
Actually, this isn't correct. If you watch, you can literally see him furrow his brow in confusion because he doesn't understand why she's in pain when she wasn't shot. And then his face is more pained in the second shot.
I remember watching this season finale and I still think that this was the most powerful scene ever....and when Bailey had a breakdown because the elevators weren't working. What a show 👍😍 Don't ever end

Just shows how awesome Meredith is.. Taking care of her friend even though she is having a maiscarriage.
All three of there acting’s where spectacular, Meredith sounding it so real, Owens reaction and April’s reaction, really showed that they cared and felt so bad for her.

It’s funny Cristina always said that she had to make sure Meredith’s husband survived but she doesn’t realize that maybe Meredith wasn’t held at gunpoint but she was also in extreme pain and stress trying to save Cristina’s gut

Best episode ever, so sad. I always cry at this part. I love her acting, the way her voice cracks when she says she's ok. She's a fantastic actress. I LOVE THIS.

Owen knew she was miscarrying because Cristina said "Wait she's pregnant", Owen knew as soon as Meredith knew.
I mean, no, because you can literally see him furrow his brow in confusion at her when they first flash to his face. He knew she wasn't shot so he was confused as to why she was in pain. Women who are pregnant and have pains that doesn't automatically mean the baby is dying.

I feel like Owen has been there and have seen a lot of what Meredith has been through but have never really had a conversation about it. There relationship has always been so different (compared to Cristina and Derek)
I think Owen is like a silent support. He protests her in his own way in they communicate in their own way. Like brother and sister they protest each other no matter what

I was so annoyed with Lexie for getting pissed off that Meredith was spending any time with April. Lex couldn't get that the shooting was traumatizing for all of them and not just her. Even not knowing of Mer's miscarriage, she knew that April's best friend was shot in the forehead.
I watched this a few weeks after I had my miscarriage. I had the exact same facial expression she did when I felt the sudden pain hit, you just know something is wrong. I cried so much while watching this part

That’s the most obvious positive sticker and pregnancy test I’ve ever seen in film
I feel like they handled the post-miscarriage & shooting trauma with mer a little poorly… she was so busy caring about Alex, Cristina, Derek and listening to their problems no one actually saw that she was really just putting her feelings on the back burner including her. Then eventually it was just never brought up again.

I don't know, I feel that with all of the emotion around Bailey this episode, the misscarrige was just a throw away 2 line remark that didn't have any impact. Should have been a proper episode on its own so we could focus on Bailey.

ellen pompeo is such an incredible actress, like i honestly don’t know how katherine heigl got an emmy and she didn’t. this scene, the elevator scene in 7x18, and also the scene when she asks the shooter to shoot her instead are some of the scenes that show just how incredible she is and i wish she got recognized for her talent.

this scene is so sad i was like WTH why did they even make her pregnant on the show if she was going to lose the baby in the same episode. all for the drama poor meredith she was so excited and that was a huge step for her as a character

This still hits me every time I watch the clip. I found out I was pregnant right before the episode aired. I didn’t miscarry, and my son will be 10 in January.
