Agreed m8! i reviewed one about 8 months ago and i was in love with it! the exhaust is SO SO GOOD! the pops n bangs really sold me
I've had mine for just over a year now and can honestly say it still makes me smile when I hear those shift changes and it's a great daily driver.
What I like about this car is here in the UK nobody has a clue how good it is, have had mine for 6 months and haven't seen another one, that's another thing I like not being one of the crowd, great revue by the way your enthusiasm is infectious.

How do you like it? Did you look into the veloster N as well? Trying to see how they compare to each other, like weight of car, comfort and other things. I been eyeing the veloster N but even this car looks amazing

They make about 320 hp and 520 nm of torque with a tune. Best bang for your buck.
There are so many people waiting to sell the i30 N in the US right now.
I don't know why, but Hyundai is not selling the i30 N in the US.
There are a lot of people who like manual gear cars who don't like two or three doors, and I know that many people are waiting for the i30 N.
I am also one of the people who have been waiting for a car to enter America since a few years ago.
If this car enters the US, I will buy it too.

I have an 09 WRX hatch, which just got a knock from uncle rodney, and I've been tossing up whether or not I should replace the motor, get another used car, or get my first brand new car.
This is the first new car I've seen that has made me smile.

hopefully you got a new STI or wrx, i have one of these and im disappointed. very hard to live with day to day and when going for a fast drive its not that fun anyway as there is just too much grip for public roads and for it to be fun you have to be going above 120Kph on a track and really pushing otherwise its quite dull to drive other than the sound. best care is a 86 or mx5 if you don't have kids, or a Golf R/S3 or WRX/Sti if you do

Old video but great review. Have you heard anything regards the 21/22 i30N ? Seems to have gone very quiet regards a series 2 N cass. I am very concerned with the new body shaping from Hyundai which is not appealing to me at all. I am hoping the next generation i30N will not launch until 2022 with a body shope of its own, AWD and 8 speed WET DCT dialed in similar to the Mercedes AMG gearbox. If Hyundai do this they are going to own the performance market in Australia as bang for buck it is unmatched when you compare against the European cars.
Matter of fact, it’s just 202KW. If they have it around 220KW above it would be great.
A tune would fix that. The car could handle it ✌
I understand that the car drives great and sounds great, but what the heck is all this drama about this farting from exhaust? Yes, I do understand that exhaust is loud as it should be, but that constant farting from exhaust when driven hard gives me ain impression that something is falling apart behind....

oddly, even it's a hyundai, we only get n-line version w 1.6t engine. And recently hyundai ended production on all i30 models.

it's said that local koreans dont like hatchbacks and station wagons, resulting in really poor sales here. We do get the veloster n though. I drive i30 n-line and it's a great car for the money!
@@f24s that's very odd, who doesn't want agility? I made a bad mistake purchasing Ford thinking i was driving an American car, it's a European built with loads of problems, transmission on the first year. That's the reason why I'm here looking for options but I don't think i can afford this model though, it's very expensive here plus i got a mortgage and kids to raise... I've got a lottery ticket tonight🤞!

Not sure what OPF is but know this particular i30n is completely stock nothing has been done to it edit: Australian delivered N dosen't have Opf filter just been told 👍
I think you mean GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter). The 2018 model doesn't have it. 2019 and later does.
This one is with the gpf!
@@Iron883Man mine is a 2018 and does have it. You can check if it has a gpf by look at your fuel cap. If its square you got gpf if its round then not.👍

Genesis was one of the first.
Also the gearbox does not do the rev matching at all.
Review Hyundai web site RE rev matching. Even has button on steering wheel to turn off or on.

Nobody is forcing you to, but it's one of the more fun cars you can get for the price. It's truly fantastic to drive.
