- Before I say anything else, I want to give a HUGE thank you to VisitMaine for this amazing experience. This place was pure magic and we would never have done all this (much less in one day) if it wasn't for them casting us.

I’m going to a Moosehead Lake next week 8/9/21. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl with my family and my husband and I have been there for the last seven years we go camping and it’s our little slice of Heaven

we were at that very same beach July 2020 . so beautiful ! we say our first moose near mt. katahdin/millinocket maine 2016.

@@mimigabes5325 we stayed at the Birches resort in Rockwood this past July. Go there, at least have dinner there and a drink on the back porch. or rent a cabin for a few days. they rent boats, that's how we got over to the cliffs behind Kineo. did you hear Loons calling over there behind Mt. Kineo? very cool, my daughter was calling back to the Loons, she can sound just like them , the echo behind the cliffs made it so cool. a very special place.

I love when I get recommendations (to the right) of Moosehead Lake videos. I was born and raised in Greenville and it is my favorite place on Earth. I also spent a lot of time at Kineo. My mother golfed it and family friends would live there during the Summers. There really is no other place like it. Definitely worth the trip from anywhere.
That is so special! I immediately looked up camps to buy once we got back. it was an amazing place!
@@mimigabes5325 You won't regret it if you decide to purchase there. My family's home is on Harford's Point, on the way to Rockwood, maybe less than 5 minutes after you drive by the train depot, heading out of greenville jct.

This was amazing! 😍 what a gorgeous adventure. I saw my first moose when we went to Utah a couple of summers ago haha, I’ve still yet to actually see one in Maine 😂
