"Tristan died in 1963. The moon of the popping trees. He was last seen up in the North Country, where the hunting was still good. His grave is unmarked, but it does not matter. He had always lived in the borderland anyway, somewhere between this world and the Other."
@@crazyunclegrantLOTR may not be my personal number one favourite score but damn I do think it’s probably the best one out there. Legends of the Fall is close, I think.
My favourite soundtrack of my favourite mouvie ever composed by my favourite composeur whit my favourits actors ever: Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt.😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pure magic... I can't express my love for this movie and this soundtrack.... Every song makes you feel so much emotion.... Every song gives me chills... This one has to be my favourite though.
Legends of the fall is a touching beautiful movie: Brad, Anthony, Aidan and..Julia with the great Horner music. Each, time I watch this movie it breaks my heart my soul with the music. REST IN POWER JH 👑💛💎

While I generally speaking say that Jurassic Park is my favourite movie, this one... just hits so hard. It just makes me so god damn happy, this movie. Even through all the tragedy. Last year actually moved out to where the film was shot. I love 20 minutes away from the cemetery location by the river (Bow River), and 45mins from the Ranch location. I love driving home and seeing the same mountains from the film.
It is a beautiful bad ass name as ya put it I watched this many years ago got goosebumps regarding Tristan character demina and all that went with him .said to me mate if I ever have a son I will call him Tristan and I did on 8/12/97 Tristan sherry and he lives up to it to ,peace out man

sometimes i feel like I am Tristan rolling in on my horse looking good to save the day...then i wake up and Im on a ship getting high with 2 hookers heading to Africa to hunt...welcome to reality..great movie though
Alessandro Moro Composer Oh yes...it is amazing indeed. I should have said just the beginning part is depressing. I do believe it was played during a turbulent time of the movie when Tristan was out to seek revenge.
I don't know why Natalie was laughing at Jason she's just as at evil fault as he is. Yeah I was weird back at BK , when I yelled your name at that guy. I despise Samantha Jones I did see her wearing the same boots.

Every warrior hopes that a good death would find him, but Tristan couldn't wait... He went out looking for his.
🥺
Brividi!!❤️
It was a good death...
Literally one of the best movies of the 90's, very underrated. Brad Pitt is amazing in this.
So melodramatic and epic 90’s flavor you’ll never see again.
This is a masterpiece.
This is how i remember Legends Of The Fall.
Great soundtrack.
The james horner songs are the best.
Shout out to the late, great JAMES HORNER!
A incalculable loss for sure!
They never really got over what happened to Samuel. None of them.
RIP, James Horner :(
🥺❤
"Hey!" "Colonel Ludlow, sir!" "What's going on here?" "What's going ON here?" "YEAH!"
❤
God bless and rest in eternal peace James Horner.
One Stab thanks for being the story teller of the Ludlows.
Others become legends......
Hadn't listened to this in years. Forgot just how majestic and moving it was. Horner's best for sure and in my opinion, the best movie score ever.
I think the same as you.❤❤❤
Lord of the Rings begs to differ

The scene with Tristan at Samuel's grave. Dayam good work on Brad Pitt's part, right there!

6:55 this moment gets me every time...
Beautiful film. beautiful score. Timeless classic.
"It was a good death."
Around the 6 minute mark when you can hear the breaths while playing the flute... goosebumps. So moving and beautiful.
James Horner hit me in the heart again.
You are a true legend sir.
That clarinet at 11:37 breaks my heart.
That is a wedding song actually.
Le plus beau film et la B.A parfaite du monde
I know this score inside and out. Have driven through Alberta, through the Sierra, listening to it. Never have seen the film.. I guess it's time!

I love this film, the soundtrack is so beautiful.
This score is sooo Damn GOOOOD!!!
An example of An American Family Should be...
Or should not be. This was pretty tragic and depressing

Take care of Samuel...
👍
I wonder always...how the cast of movies feels when they see and experience these composers and compositions...
from 13:38 - i get the chills proper
Najpiekniejsza melodia na swiecie. i love it.
Wie gesagt ! Danke Alter!!
When i watch this its so weird hearing my name and i feel like a super badass

emmanuel sherry thats crazy i was born in 96 and my parents named me directly because of this character, really cool!
Beautiful cue by Horner... one of my favourite of his scores.
Glorious and beautiful, unlike nowadays soundtracks which mostly are violent and sexual.
How can a soundtrack be violent or sexual? What do you mean?
Amazing!
The best film for me!!!
one can't help but see the scene in ur mind and think of how special life can be , or what can happen
Alfred has that sadness look in the picture 😓
RIP Jim Harrison.
@07:09 the part where Brad Pitt goes to the grave and cries for his brother. His wife comes to console him. Perfect scene.
I think this is the part where Brad Pitt is looking at photographs and reminiscing.
This is SOUNDTRACK!!!
1.53 Glorious!

Me gusto la pelicula , pero mas el tema muy bonito.
"Wertz gerring on herrr?"
Parts of this score are very reminiscent of John Barry.
Alan Both LOTF and Dances with Wolves have a setting at the frontier (of their respective times) and both scores have that feel.
Best album track, vengeance scene is fantastic
I'm going to go lay down soon.
I guess I'm hallucinating this to
00:00-01:19 This reminds me of Patriot Games (the same composer and the arranged notes)
Horner often plagiated himself, much like John Barry.
sometimes i feel like I am Tristan rolling in on my horse looking good to save the day...then i wake up and Im on a ship getting high with 2 hookers heading to Africa to hunt...welcome to reality..great movie though
❤
For all the “Horner just recycled his work” dolts out there, I now emasculate you with this track alone.
5:44 ...
So great!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👍
One person must have gotten shot by Alfred.
This part of the soundtrack is really depressing.
wtf?!?
Alessandro Moro Composer Lol. I guess you don't agree.
this is the REAL amazing composition!!! :)
Alessandro Moro Composer Oh yes...it is amazing indeed. I should have said just the beginning part is depressing. I do believe it was played during a turbulent time of the movie when Tristan was out to seek revenge.
