An IGN recent article said that the developer of Tenchu Stealth Assassins wants the game to be remastered but he knows that know with the pandemic it's hard but he is definitely considering it.
I remember playing this and my brother convinced me there was a way to summon the wolf as Kagura. I think he told me that so whenever I picked Kagura during multiplayer, he could kick my ass while I tried to figure it out.

The first time of playing tenchu, you don't know the boss technique. And losing meaning you're going to start over. You feel anxious, but the music trigger your adrenaline to kick in. Nowadays, checkpoint is almost all over the place, you can even make your own checkpoint. Surviving isn't as meaningful anymore.
it's cool how they remixed a lot of Tenchu 1 music. Tenchu 2's biggest flaw was having no music compared to the first game, and being a much less prettier game.
The story is what made the game. The environments weren't as pretty either. They tried to make the game look more realistic, which explains the lack of music. I think that's just an excuse not to pay the composer for as many songs though.

Ah yes. There is strains of battle with a fiersome enemy mixed in, which fits well. Honestly would love to see how a new version of tenchu would be with some of the extra stuff from sekiro added in. Maybe a variant of this theme for a boss encounter.
One of my favourite games bk in the day i miss those years excellent game! Also the main melody of this tune sounds exactly like something cropped out of Rurouni kenshin anime in fact part of it its the same im almost certain!
I remember having the demo version of the game on my PS2, it just ended after the battle with the drunk dude with a pistol lol. But it was so much fun, I'm surprised I found the OST after such a long time. I always wanted this game, might buy it someday.
You know... I don't remember where I got my copy, but I'm glad I never threw it away as a kid. Coming back to it years later, I think the game is easily in my top three stealth games of all time.

The lack of music made Tenchu 2's levels a bore.

I think they must have used a sample set or something because there are parts of the soundtracks that are exactly the same.
