Halloween is a very busy day for me; last minute updates to the decorations (we go all out), making sure everything's in working order, filling the goodie bags (we give out all sorts of stuff - fun size candies, big chocolate bars, popcorn balls, chips, gummies, activity books, glow sticks, etc. I might give out a children's Halloween poems book I'm working on), and my nephew, who'll be 5 in September, is always talking about Halloween, so I love seeing his excitement with whatever costume he chooses. All the preparation just adds to the excitement, and there's something about Halloween night that gets my fire up. It's like when a thunderstorm is about to hit - there's a power in it, an energy. I know it sounds strange, but I can't describe it any other way.
I can't wait for haunted house and going to spirit Halloween stores

For sure go to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood. That is a must. Especially this year. This year is the 50th anniversary of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and they are doing a 50th anniversary Texas Chainsaw Massacre house that looks like it is going to be big and like they are going hard for it. It sucks for all those Florida fans who will not have it over there. Also Knotts Scary Farm.
We will be at opening night of HHN Hollywood and Scary Farm! Those are our favorite haunts! 🎃🖤

I asked your husband, I forgot his name, if you two could go last year, and he said that your schedule was currently filled up to go. It is in South El Monte at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area.
