1:30 Best device to hold the piston in place is to take plug out and fill the cavity with long rope that is then easy to pull out and remove. Also pay attention with way the treads are, since sometimes you run into left handed treads.
Hi I have got a cobra BC260C petrol strimmer I needed a new pull unit as the centre bit had worn out also needed the metal rectangle bit the tabs had broken off no longer held in by the cir clip the recoil has 3 bolt holes in where can I get parts for cobra strimmers at the price your getting them for please.
Umm if you mean does this happen due that, no. There must have been very hard pull that broke the chinesium treads, or combination of pulling while it was stopping from earlier pull increasing load on the treads. If you mean similarly not working, yes if those plastic fingers do not engage to center due wear or springs holding them are broken you can pull all you like but it wont engage except very rarely if ever.

Hi. Does this happen because the plastic white pegs/legs wear down and therefore not engaging properly? I have to do this on a Parker strimmer.
