I watched a video of a tiger running from a bunch of dudes with sticks in india (I think they were trying to scare it away from a public pool or something) and they couldn't make contact the thing was so quick 10 defense is super low for a tiger, armored or otherwise
One thing we were talking about in Discord is that hunter spiders MR was bumped up to 13 which is a huge upgrade. I'm excited to give Machaka some love this game
I like to mainly use Flagellants and give them a bunch of attack blesses, fire resistance, and death explosion. Then I spam them as they are cheap and can recruit them anywhere.
oh wow replacing ammo for fatigue with abilities buffs a lot of nations what comes to mind is EA Argartha since your ulms are going to just not run out of fatigue with those earth blesses.
They WILL sadly and quite quickly actually : It cost 5 to use mind blast and they have 4 encumbrance meaning that it cost 9 fatigue to fire one (so 7 ammunition normally ... Just realised it's a nerf from the 10 ammunition the worm had in dom 5) if you take 5 reinvigoration you get 5+1 naturally fatigue regen meaning 3 fatigue a turn since you stop using it at 50 fatigue you have 17 fire before running over the 50 fatigue threshold
I'd imagine light cav would offer better combat speed and defense bonuses to the rider as opposed to heavy cav which would be more armored and giving trample. Maybe differentiate between the two with light cav being size 2 and heavy cav being size 3 or more. Maybe we'll see Niefelheim Giants using same sized Mammoth mount or something -- that would be sick.
Now, that mind blast doesn't have an ammo limit, EA Agartha can have Olms with a 5x reinvigoration+bloodsurge bless. Too bad, that they are cave only recruits. :)

Now I'm wondering whether all sacred cavalry will also have sacred mounts. How would that make blesses stack? Blood surge would affect both? Or even exploding death.
@@LucidTactics Very interesting. Blood surge would have quite the return with sacred cav then. Quickness, defensive skills... heck charged bodies with shock protection. Isn't there a fire shield aura bless?
It probably best value for the first few but then the more you invest the less value you get due to levels needed more xp. But who knows it might mean you get soild troops and sicko mode thugs lol.
@@callumfinlayson-palmer8393 yeah, it could be a funny meme bless. Assuming the XP to stat scaling is the same as in 5, you could do like, 8 points into it to get a 5x bonus. That's a passive 5 XP per turn, which is up to 60xp (2 stars) in 12 turns, and that doesn't take expansion into account, where that 4XP for winning a battle becomes 20.

But each star gives +1 to attack, defense, morale precision, and research, with 3 and 5 adding +1 strength and 4 adding 2 HP and -1 encumbrance. So a total stat buff of +5 attack, +5 defense, +5 morale, +2 strength, +2 HP, and -1 encumbrance for most thugs and troops, with +5 precision and +5 research added on for mages and/or archers. So really a very nice little stat spread if you can get to it quickly and efficiently. I imagine the Champion's Skull will be very useful for wanna be Heroism thugs.

Marington is rather strong and straightforward nation with it's palladins. And Lucid is a strong player. I'd prefer Lucid would choose some other nation, and leave Marington to Das or Battlemode.

Yeah for the most part sacred cav have sacred mounts... further, they act independently - i.e; 2 death explosions etc

Its seperate and stacks with armor, but doesnt stack with natural protection.

If you are talking about the bless I think the weapon actually has to hit first before the vampiric effect applies.
