- Updated Simple Crochet Top Tutorial bit.ly/2UjmwK0
Hi there, I decided to remake the tutorial for this simple crochet top design because I needed to make this as a base in order to complete my next design - okay, that doesn't make sense. Basically, I wanted to update my simple crochet top tutorial so that you have a more solid understanding of my next crochet top design; which incorporates a simple crochet top design as it's base... Anyway, I'm sorry if this tutorial goes pretty fast, but it was a last minute decision to make this tutorial & I have another tutorial for the same exact design anyway, so I thought I would just upload this as a refresher.
However, if you are new to crochet and are looking for a more beginner friendly tutorial on this design, please visit the link above for a much more easy-to-follow tutorial. Thank you, & happy crocheting!

- 4
♢ How much yarn did you use? ♢

* I just wanted to post this because there have been a number of wonderful people tagging me in their crochet posts and messaging/ commenting on how much I have helped them. I just wanted to give back(: Also, I've had this tutorial on my computer for a while haha But normally I won't make crochet top tutorials until my last one reaches 1k likes. Remember, I WILL NOT ANSWER ANY CROCHET QUESTIONS ON ANY OF MY VIDEOS OR SOCIAL MEDIA. I will not allow myself to be a free online personal tutor. It was stressful 😅 Feel free to ask your question in the comments & if you can, answer other people's questions (much appreciated) but know that I only provide this tutorial and any additional help will come with a charge (so people don't take advantage of me, get help from me, and then take my design and sell them on their website as their own [ aughh ] )

Okay, to my fellow big boob community, and itty bitty tiddy alike, A start with 10, B starts with 12, C starts with 14, D starts with 16, and so on adding 2 for each cup size increase. I have found that a good area for how many rows to do is the same amount you started with if you want a good amount of coverage. Don't be too upset if you need to fiddle around with the stitches, it will take a while to get it right, you can do it! Hope this helped 💕
Thank you so much

I’ve got a US cup size guide for u guys!
A cup= 10 chains + 20 rows
B cup= 12 chains + 22 rows
C cup= 14 chains + 24 rows
D cup= 16 chains + 26 rows
E cup= 18 chains + 28 rows

Wish I read this before I made the dang thing 😢

Should have seen this earlier. But it's just what I've done. A cup ended up with 30stiches on each side of the cup

I’m learning. It’s not hard but I’m definitely not at this point yet
This is my first ever crochet project and I finished it yesterday, I made a the body a bit too small for myself so I took it out and im starting it over :)
Edit: ayee I finished it again yesterday and it fits and looks so perfect :)))
How many yarns do you need? Please answer💕

I am an experienced crocheter, I absolutely LOVE your technique and design. Thanks so much for creating it and posting this tutorial Krystal. I am working on healing from cancer, and this helps keep my hands and mind active when my body needs rest (I hate sitting and being in bed, so crocheting this is motivation to rest LOL I am stubborn!!). YOU ROCK and you totally made my day good today. Also, it gives me something to look forward to wearing that is comfortable. THANK YOU KRYSTAL!
Omg thanks so much! I'm 10 years old and I love knitting because my grandma did. She passed when I was a baby so I never got to see her. She inspires me a lot. I'm making this for my 13 sister for the summertime. Thanks for your help! I love your videos. :)))

Wow! This is the most clear and educational crochet tutorial that I have ever watched! I love the way she talks you can clearly understand.Thank you for sharing this ideas.
I am just starting this now for my daughter , I cant wait to make this !! How it turned out great for u
I was sitting here thinking “omg I never miss the first stitch!”
Next thing I know, my cup is curving
Just stretch it, mine also curved and I just stretched it. You probably already solved your problem cause your comment is already a month old so yeah k bye
@@pritongtae4352 lmfaooo “so yeah k bye” im cackling
I've been doing crochet over four months and I have to say my tops looks perfect. Good tutorial easy to follow I'm really happy thanks
Making this for my daughter. She loves it already and I'm not even done. Lol
my cups are curving and idk why its making the rest of the project flare out and i think its because its curved. please help
Awe I hope she loved it , making this for my daughter.
@@sparkletrotter162 the youtuber says something like, "if you do not go into the very first stitch or the next row your cup will curve. Another possibility is not chaining one after each row or crocheting too tightly." Hope this helps!
So cuteeee 💕
I am currently working on this, though not exactly as is, to go with a skirt I just finished. Thank you for the pattern.
This is my first time trying to make a top and only my second “big” project. It took me about a week but it came out amazing and it took me a while to make sure I was doing it right but this video helped soooo much and was an amazing reference
Since I am only a freshman, and don't really like exposure, I'm sewing/ putting yarn across the front a little above the exposure so I feel a little more comfortable, I will post a short on my channel to show you what I mean, I don't post much, so it shouldn't be hard to find, I hoped this helped some of you who have the same problem I do (self conscience/ don't like being exposed)
❤ thank you for this video btw, I have been wanting to make these tops really bad ❤
Also to make it a bit easier and less time taking, for the bottom part where you single crochet back and forth, I ended up double crocheting because it made it faster for me, and easier.
Hope all this helped ❤
As a beginner, I can say that this tutorial is really nice! It was easy to follow and I managed to finish this project in 2 days! This was my first time crocheting a crop top and it turned out really nice! Thank you! 💕

definitely subscribing. she's very detailed, and even if its not one of her beginner beginner videos, she still used terms that beginners can understand and use to learn. thank you and i'm trying this after i do my homework!
This looks beautiful! You should try making shorts next! Love your work!!❤❤
I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on shorts if possible. I really want to make a pair of pants for a friend and if I can get the top part done the legs will be a breeze. I love all of your projects!
That's a good idea!

I already finished it!!i already have 2 of these and I just work this for 3-4 hours and I really love it,my customers love it!!!tysm
This tutorial is so easy to follow. I’m going to start making mine in light blue and I’m hoping it turns out good. I’ve started crocheting just over a year ago and I’ve always wanted to make a clothing piece. I have started a few of my own patterns for clothes but they’ve just never turned out. Once I start this and once I finish it I’m going to be super happy (in hopes that it turns out good lol). ❤❤
Made this for fun. Turned out so cute. Thank you.
Trying to follow and mine has so many holes in it 😂 beginner over here 😅 might try something easier
try using a smaller hook than yarn you're using recommends (sorry for my english, is not my first language)
Same my first cup has holes in it but my second cup looks good
I’m a beginner too and I am making a mini backpack by making a single stitch rectangular swatch, super simple but I’m not following anything so idk measurements or anything

this was honestly one of the best tutorials ive seen in a while, I was actually able to see and understand, thank you so much!!!
What kind of yarn do u use mine is al frizzy and yours is not
100% cotton will help with pilling! There is also low pilling acrylic yarn if that’s what you prefer. I find cotton yarn slows me down quite a bit because it gets stuck on my hook but it’s not fuzzy at all!
this is the best crochet crop top tutorial i have followed!! i have followed three others and i struggled with all of them. this one has gone so well and i am so proud of my piece!! i’m not finished yet, i have the band to do and then i’ll be done :) i wish i could show a picture
She explained it so well! I’m a beginner, and i actually understood it :)
Easy detailed video thank you 😊 I like how you explain what you will do the next step without rushing it
Me with my DD trying to get this to fit-
Hey I’m also a DD and I found that in the veryyy beginning doing a couple more single stitches (more than 12 I found 18 or 20 might make it big enough) can help make the cup its self bigger!
How about for a C? Anyone?
Leah Cook I did 15 stitches in the beginning. I then did 7 rows of single crochet on the cups and it was perfect
I feel you girl im an f 😭
